Of course like all Bose products this is awesome with rich room-filling sound quality with great bass.
The battery is really long lasting and stores up energy well. I charged it full and left it unused for over 3 months, I picked it up set up for an event and the battery lasted for all 3 hours of the event and still had energy left.

I am a keyboard player and I use this product for small jazz trio party gigs. I am not blown away by the sound... it's ok, but the reason why I gave it 4 stars has to do with it's portability. It's so easy to carry and take with me. Plug it in and play.... no setup.

My group uses the large Bose F1 system (L1 before that).. I purchased the S1 as a monitor, but because it's got battery backup and sounds so good - I've actually done a few small solo acoustic gigs with just this speaker! It's very versatile, light, and battery powered when needed

I saw this product at a local store and was blown away with the sound. Very small package with very large sound. I use the S1 at small venues and it performs brilliantly. I use it at home aa an acoustic amp. I have owned Ultrasound and SWR acoustic amps and I can say the S1 out performs them. You will not be sorry if you buy a Bose S1.

These things are fantastic for plugging direct and being mobile.
I wish they would have put a line level and a mic level switch. They do not work well as monitors for full bands. I also wish they would have let you pair the speakers through bluetooth to play as stereo.
They’re great for busking and small gigs.

This is all the pa you need in small intimate restaurants where the customers are intimated by a speaker that's too close to their table. The sound is clear. The inputs are all you need for a solo performer. It works great outside as well whether there's power available or not!

Purchased the Bose S1 Pro Bundle for when I have singing engagements at churches events that don't have a modern/up-to-date sound system. This portable PA system is light weight, easy to carry/transport but very powerful and is just what I need for the size venues I use. The multi-positional feature gives me great flexibility. It is very easy to connect/Bluetooth to my cell phone or laptop since I use performance tracks a lot. And the battery pack makes it super convenient to use when power source is unavailable. I am really impressed with the sound quality and durability.

Light weight, compact and BIG SOUND! This describes the Bose S1. I’ve used mine in multiple playing and listening situations and the sound is unsurpassed by anything in its class and price point! The two channels for instrument and vocals are perfectly matched to work together with their separate EQ settings. The third channel with 1/8 inch output works great to plug my computer in and use tracks or I sometimes plug the Bose S1 into my TV and use it for sound reinforcement for movies! The “tilting” capabilities make the Bose S1 efficient in any situation from table top usage to floor monitoring at a gig! At a mere 15lbs, the unit is super easy to bring anywhere at anytime! For professional gig situations to any rehearsal situation or just leisure settings, the Bose S1 is a perfect piec of gear to add to a Musicians arsenal of equipment or anyone looking for sound reinforcement in their home! Bose products are the best! I highly recommend this item...the BOSE S1!

I find this Bose S1 amazing. Why? I used to carry around my gigs a bigger amp. My friends have been telling me to buy this Bose S1 since not only does it sound good but it is also small, lightweight and works and sound better than the bigger amps. I gig (keys) a lot and changing my set up to this Bose product made my life easier. Thank you to American Musical Supply for having payment plans as well. It is a big help to musicians like me. Bose have always come up first when it comes to audio.

The Bose S1 Pro has a great sound and the extra portability really comes in handy. I’ve used mine 5 or 6 times performing solo and in my acoustic singer/songwriter duo. The sound when you are plugged straight in is pretty good, but add a preamp or mixer (I use the Bose T1 Tonematch mixer) and it really sings. I have yet to actually run the battery down all the way and I have used it for 4 hour shows. I use the Bluetooth all the time for just listening to music.

This is one of the best things I have ever purchased.
I love this speaker. I have been using it for everything from a Bluetooth speaker to a guitar amp. I haven't been able to find anything wrong with it. The fact that it is totally portable and rechargeable has changed my world! I would recommend this to anyone who likes music. It's easy to use, it sounds amazing, and the battery has a long run time. I was able to play two guitars through it for four hours without a recharge. Awesome job Bose. Thank you AMS...

I am a singer/songwriter in his 60s. I play at many small venues and wanted a PA that is easy to carry but can offer quality sound to a smaller space. I saw this mentioned in Performer magazine and checked out the reviews and any video I could find. I decided to check this out.
I was first impressed that it came with a battery. I usually have access to electricity, but it is nice to know that this will work even without a plug nearby. It has two instrument/mic channels; great for a singer songwriter. Using it it in the field twice it has worked well for small coffee shop gigs. It does better with my guitars that with a microphone; you have to boost the volume a bit for the mic. It does have a switch that you can set for guitar or instrument; it also has reverb, treble, and bass adjustments for each channel which is nice. I am very happy with this and will use it for most gigs.
