Depth & Width Stereo Enhancer

I use this as an end-of-chain sonic enhancer, going stereo into two amps. It adds a pristine subtle dreamy movement to my stereo delays and reverbs. It’s simple to use and every setting sounds great!

That Chino pedal. Simple, Straightforward

Bought this pedal because I've seen one of my favorite bands use it. Sounds great when I heard it live. When I got it and tried it. It gave me those same sounds. You can have one sound or mixed two of them. Swirly old school chorus sound. Definitely recommend this pedal. Simplicity works.

No knobs? No problem. Let Boss pick your settings.

An absolutely staggering chorus. I feel like I got the cheat codes to all the Andy Summers and AlexLifeson and Jerry Cantrell and Ty Tabor sounds I could have wanted in one shot, and no endless knob tweaking.
Only thing I'd change is to add a dry/wet control. The effect is VERY potent and there's no way to dial it back. I'm going to experiment with paralleling it with the signal at the input and see if it mellows out a bit.
Otherwise, I think I've found the one. Lots of "motionless" chorus sounds, and a few with mild to moderate motion. I don't care for the heavy depth "seasick" chorus sound, or speedy vibrato, so this is perfect for me.
Price is intense, but if it lasts as long as most Boss stuff does (especially since it's studio equipment for me) it should be well worth it.

Bought this to use with my ampless rig as a way to widen the stereo field which was an old studio trick in the 80s! Place it at the end of the signal chain.

Very cool sounds for a “different” type of chorus effect. Great clean classic tones. The switch gives a lot more control over the intensity.

Great sounding chorus pedal. Instant 80’s sound. Was worried that not having a volume on this pedal would be an issue but the pedal sounds perfect as is.

I've had them all: SCF, original ce-2, maxon vintage series chorus etc.. This to me is the perfect chorus. Strumming clean sounds great on lower setting chorus. Lower setting on 2nd mode has a subtle phase great for lead and distorted tones. Upper levels in each mode are just analog heaven. I have seen reviews that this doesn't sound good with distortion. Nothing can be further from the truth; it's sounds great- no mush. No tone loss either. Boss did a great job with buffer. Get this chorus and you may never need another.

I will start with I do not like chorus pedals. But since this pedal came out in the 80s- I have always found it to be in a class of its own. I have used a berringer copy of the circuit- which is great- but has become noisy with age. I am glad boss decided to offer this pedal again- so I can have quality without risking an original. Even if you only get it to play purple rain- it is worth it- just a majestic sound.

Super awesome pedal. I got it to run stereo with my 2 fender amps. It just sounds amazing and the stereo imaging is wonderful.
I'm loving the SDD320 setting to capture a bit of the SRV studio album magic.
Although SRV used an original Roland SDD320 in post, the pedal last in your signal chain into two Fender amps is pretty darn close.
It can be a subtle effect but sometimes that's a good thing.
This pedal sounds so nice and enhances most tones wonderfully.
Except the heaviest metal rhythm guitar tone. That shouldn't have chorus on it. ;)

I play 2 ways. In stereo at home, and in mono with the band (to much to carry already. In stereo this pedal is hard to beat. Adds beautiful depth and lushness to your tone. In mono it lacks a little bit. Still adds depth but is a little phase-y sounding. It’s still good on cleans in mono but sounds a bit strange on distorted tones. Overall I am still very happy with this pedal.

This pedal is simplistic and right to the point, pick a setting and play. S mode is neutral and more of a standard chorus, while the SSD-320 mode is bright and clean with a little more top end. Definitely recommended for the set it and forget it player!
