I am a solo guitarist and I’ve been using midi files and MP3 backing tracks for years. Back in the late 70’s when I started, they didn’t have these backing tracks. It was me & a drum machine. I long for those times again. If you’re doing a solo act and just need some good quality drum and percussion sounds to fill in your sound, this unit will do it. A small foot print and quality sounds. You can choose a drum beat and if desired, add conga, bongos, tambourine, shaker,
hand claps and cajon sounds by the touch of a button. If you want, you can skip the underlying drum beat and just have congas or other percussion sounds for a nice island feel. This is a great unit and I recommend it highly.

THIS AS GREAT FOR ME. ITS SIMPLE AND EASY TO USE. IT HAS JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING YOU WOULD WANT ALL READY PROGRAMED IN AND READY TO GO.
WHAT I LIKE MOST ABOUT IT IS ITS LOOKING RIGHT AT YOU. THE TRACK NUMBERS ON THE SCREEN ARE BIG AND EASY TO SEE EVEN IN THE DARK. IT ALSO CAN RUN ON BATTERIES.
GOOD FOR PRACTICE, RECORDING AND MOST GIG SITUATIONS.

Finally, a simple, long overdue, space-age drum/metronome machine designed by BOSS/ROLAND without bass-guitar sound complexity designed into it!
I like its user friendly buttons, simple instructions for quick set-up and
quick learning for my
one-man-band, acoustic guitar solos and vocals!
I plug it into my acoustic amp to make it sound more loudly, along with my mic and guitar plugged into the same amp.
WOW! Fantastic drum sounds/rhythm patterns!!!

Perfect for one, two or three acoustic instruments. Can be started or stopped by a footswitch or you can assign specific functions to a footswitch. No one will think you have a real drummer hidden somewhere but this thing sounds fine and does it's job well. Love it!
