The speakers are nice and neutral for guitar. Build quality is good. Removable back panel is a bonus. Cabinet is heavy for its size. I've owned other 2x12s that sound just as good but are easier to transport. The lack of any kind of recessed side handles make this cabinet hard to lug around by the top-mounted strap alone. I gig twice a month and I'm worried the carrying strap will randomly break loose at some point. My last criticism is that the outer covering seems thin. It doesn't take much to rip it.

I was skeptical that I wasn't going to get mids and lows out of this. Well, I was wrong! I run an Orange Super Crush 100 through it and was pleasantly surprised at the sound and tine! It may look like it's cheaply made, but you would be wrong. Heavy enough to keep those tones going, but light enough it won't tear your arm off carrying it.

What a great cabinet! Plays well with clean or dirty amps, tube or solid state. You can clearly hear the individual notes ringing with all the additional semi-tones and harmonics. Adding modulation and lush reverbs and delays is a joy as the fullness will envelop the room at high volumes. Full sounds not harsh sounds. Great live or for recording.

This cabinet has a good amount of bass response for a 2/12. Has a good neutral feel to it. To me it let the sound of different heads come through without coloring the sound to much. It is heavy. Came with feet to put on one side of the cabinet so it would sit vertically. I thought that was a nice touch. It would benefit from side handles is my only complaint. I thought about putting some v30s in it or something like that but after playing it awhile it just sounded better and better. Hope this helps

I’ve been using this cabinet with its katana mk1 head for about 2 months now, and all I can say is I’m very impressed! It’s a keeper! It delivers an amazing sound! I also went ahead and picked up a Boss ME-80 pedalboard with it, and I can get every sound I want and so much more! Needless to say, it works very well with pedals! It has incredible bass response and even outperforms my Samsung home sound system that has its own subwoofer. Has the option to lay on its side and comes with the rubber feet to screw into the side. And the option to open the back of cab is a very nice versatility bonus. And bonus points to AMS for their amazing payment plans and next day shipping!

I purchased this amp and Cabinet and it is absolutely the best amp for the money no questions! The MKII has some upgrades that just make just make it the best in that price ranger. You get way more than what you pay for here. I recently went thru some hard times,like we all do, and if it was not for AMS' options of payment plans, this would still be on my wish list or in my shopping cart. Thanks to AMS, I have an amazing Amp and Cabinet that has tones that you may not even hear on amps twice the price. This thing is that good. All the tones you want, with all the payment options you'd want. Ordered it on February 28th, and recieved it on February 29th. Enough Said

Let’s start with sound. I plugged in my Carvin V3 at 50w and couldn’t believe how much bottom end this cab has. I play mostly metal and this cab sounds better than I could have imagined, great all around tone. Clear highs, solid mids and bass for days. The one knock on this cab is some of the components, such as corner protectors, are cheap plastic but considering the price I’d say it’s a great value. If you gig professionally this cab probably isn’t for you but if you’re playing semi professionally I’d definitely recommend it. Boss seems to have made a great entry level 2x12.

This cab exceded my expectations the build quality is excellant, i use it as an open back with an orange crush pro head, the bottom end on this is superb i would highly recommend this cab..
