I got this for the crazy slicerand the dimension effect. Nice chorus,phaser, and flanger in there too. MIDI. Easy to dial in. Solid Boss effects

I’ve been using boss pedals, making records and playing live, for 25 years now...and, they NEVER let me down. The MD-500 is no different. So pro. The sounds/new technology are incredible and very easy to use, especially with three stomps per bank, which allows you to have a lot at your feet/disposal simultaneously. There’s so much good stuff in there and it really is a great songwriting tool, to build on sonic ideas in so many different ways. Getting in to all the minute details of how you can tweak each parameter and sound can be daunting at first, with so many options, but once you get involved it’s very easy to use and navigate. I highly recommend the MD-500 to any player who needs tons of modulation at their feet, and it’s REALLY making me want the MD-delay version. Amazing product. Amazing company. Built like tanks. Bravo, BOSS...as, per usual.
