I initially bought the ms3 to add a couple of overdrives to My Head Rush pedal board but I was able to do more than that I was able to incorporate modulation and maybe expression to My Head Rush processor it was very easy to get everything to work in order I was scared at first LOL but just trying it made it simpler and simpler as I've made multiple presets already I would totally recommend this whether you're plugging straight into the front of the amp or to the return of the effects loop or doing 4 cable method this thing totally rocks

The Boss MS-3 is portable and fits perfectly on my pedalboard. I could also use a couple of my favorite stand along pedals. The unit internal effects are great as a stand along. This definitely is my travel go to effect unit

I originally got this as an easy solution to a Bass pedal board and found it a very useful tool both for bass and guitar. Most of my favorite pedals can be found here and with a little tweaking sound near to my uppity boutique pedals. I will say the learning curve is a bit of a chore for setting presets and patches but worth it. A lot less fiddling between songs.

This is the perfect addition to my pedalboard. This unit is small and light, it provides all the effects and switching capability I need in my rig while allowing me to keep the pedals I've collected over the years that I can't live without. I have tried a number of other multi-effects units (Line 6, Headrush, GT100) and found them to be 'overkill' for my needs. For me, this is the one.

I initially bout this multi effects unit to use for practice because our practice space is very small (9x9ft room). I wanted something compact & easy to operate. I'm very happy with the size of the unit & the more I learn to operate the system the more I realize how endless my options are. I've used it to gig & it has stood up against my pedalboard that is about a $3,000 value. I couldn't be happier. The other guitarist in our band is planning to get one now for himself.

BUY IT ASAP, it will create space on your pedalboard where less qualified effects are taking up precious space. While you're placing the order, ADD DUMLOP'S COOL NEW Dual Duty VOLUME X, volume/expression pedal. You won't regret these fabulous upgrades!

I really love this pedal and it is currently the center of my pedal board for bass and guitar. The drive are surprisingly usable and mods are great. I wish I could chose which fx blocks i wanted to use instead of having two of each type. No spillover when switching from preset to preset. Other than that the unit is a great bang for buck solution!

Easy to program and it is a small footprint for your pedalboard. Being able to integrate your favorite OD pedals is great! I use loop 3 for the 4 cable method with my Orange Rockerverb. I'm using two expression pedals. One for for volume the other for controlling parameters such as delay effect and feedback levels, modulation speed and depth. Works great and my club board is much smaller and easier to schlep.
