I bought a White Casio PX870 Privia Digital Piano from American Musical as a first time customer in late 2023.
I absolutely love my piano, but I also have to mention my experience with American Musical.
My order began with a call to sales. The gentleman who helped me took the time to listen to what I was looking for, which helped pair with me the piano I purchased. In addition, the payment plan/pricing gave me the flexibility I needed to make the purchase, and I was very thankful. The piano arrived on time and was relatively easy to put together by closely following all instructions.
The piano itself exceeded my expectations. It is a beautiful piece of equipment to have in my home. The white is aesthetically pleasing. It has a lid that closes above the keys. The pedals mimic those of a real piano extremely closely. The weight of the keys feels the exact same to me as when I play on an acoustic piano. The sound adapts to how you play and matches what you put into it.
There are many custom features. The list goes on. I am incredibly pleased with my piano!
What is more impressive, though, and as I mentioned above, is the total experience working with American Musical. These folks are kind, diligent, and very helpful. If you are on the fence about purchasing musical equipment online, I encourage you to place your trust in American Musical. Moving forward, I Will never do business with anyone else. As a beginner, this piano was absolutely perfect for me. It’s small enough to fit in my apartment, but large enough to feel like I’m playing something that has real oomph to it! I was able to assemble it on my own with relative ease and it didn’t take more than 30 minutes or so. The only struggle I had was the sheer weight of the piano, and putting it into place after the fact.
Overall, I love the sound, I love the feel of it and I couldn’t be happier with my first piano!

The sound of the Grand Piano stands out as simply the best in this price range. The weighted keys and options for dampening etc. give a great feel if you are looking for a real piano experience.
It is compact in size so fits in smaller apartments etc.
The USB midi connectivity options are great for hooking up to apps on an iPad.
I have had this for about a year now and I am truly happy with it.

We were impressed right out of the box. It was very easy to set up. The sound & quality is very impressive for a digital piano. It offers a lot of extra bells & whistles without taking up too much space on the keyboard, & keeps a clean uncluttered look. It’s relatively lightweight and doesn’t take up much space, making it easy to incorporate into any room. The weighted, hammer action keys, and full 3 pedal system, along with the excellent sound resonance make it sound & feel very similar to playing a grand piano. We couldn’t be more pleased.

This Casio piano works and does what any other good acoustic or digital piano does, and does it beautifully! Great for ProTools as a Midi device, as well as its USB port to work arrangements within ProTools instruments.

First we ordered the Yamaha YDP 144, but due to poor packaging it came broken. We decided to purchase Casio instead. For the same price point it has higher polyphony 256 vs 192. It doesn’t come with a chair though, so we purchased it separately. I want to mention that the company has a great customer service! Thank you team for your help and time!

Where do I start, I haven’t played a piano since I played as a kid in church. My mother was a pastor and when she past from cancer I vowed to never play again. My wife gifted me this on Christmas and I was stunned as the piano was pure white, and the different ranges and tones that it plays. I’ve played my piano every since Christmas and I haven’t stopped. A very good and beautiful product.

Great instrument! It was easy to assemble, but you will probably want two people to move it around.
I love the weighted keys. Even the pedals have a genuine feel. The sound is nice and the response from the keys can be adjusted. There are a number of voices.
There are only two negatives I can think of. First, the headphone jack is inconvenient to access and can leave a cord in your way. Second, the cabinet is really narrow. It's nice that it has such a low profile, but it would be better with more room on top for music.
All in all, this is a great piano for the price.

My wife loves the look and sound of this piano. The keys are the closest thing to the real thing. 40w sounds system is super loud. The built in song are great to entertain guest. It looks modern and slim. Extremely happy with the purchase.

I bough this digital piano for my wife and I’m so happy I did. First it looks amazing on our living room in white. But the best of all is all the different features it has. It has concert and piano songs included. Thru the app you can contact to the piano to practice the included songs. The audio is amazing putting it on top of all the competition. The 40w sound system is super loud. ( the standard is 8w sound system). This is the closest that you will get to a real grand piano for 1k.

The speakers are awesome and the keys feel like a real piano should. The stand is strong and functional and well built. I have had it for about only four months but I'm a retired Veteran and starting over again as I haven't played for about 2 years. Love the sound and feel.

This piano feels a lot like an acoustic piano. My favorite thing about this piano is the action and feel. The keys have the mock ebony and ivory feel. The sounds are also much better than other digital pianos I've tried. The reverberated rooms sound very authentic. The accompanying app isn't great but it's not at all necessary.

So I’m use to playing Yamaha, Roland, and Korg. I wanted something that would sound great, feel great, and look nice in my small living room. I was amazed to see how easy it was to assemble and how rich the sound was. Best of all, it really adds character to my living room. Love this investment. Best bang for buck is an understatement. It’s worth every Penny and more!

I own several keyboards for my business (Motifs, Nords, Kronos), but I needed something for my children to bang on and for me to mess around with at home. This keyboard has a keybed that is as good if not better than some top shelf 88 key synths and the sounds are useable. I have even done some studio tracking using this keyboard and with some gentle EQ you would think this is a $4000 synthesizer. My kids love it also and I am not worried about them playing it. Perfect budget home digital piano.

This digital piano is sweet. It sounds like a real piano. The speakers are powerful enough to produce a full dynamic range. I love the feel of the keys as they are textured, making for a nice grip as you play. I also like the touch of the keyboard. It truly feels and responds like an expensive piano. I wish this keyboard had a display screen. It would be nice if it had more voices. Overall, this is an excellent instrument. As a pianist, I wanted a keyboard that sounds and feels like an expensive piano. This keyboard delivers on both of these desires. I give it a resounding applause. Also, I was very impressed with AMS and their speedy service in filling my order. I love how you can make zero interest payments.
