This thing came in rough. Fit and finish was fine but the nut way too high even for a classical. The frets are rough and gritty and the fingerboard and bridge has less moisture than the Sahara!

Needed Fret Work

Frets were sharp and unfiled. Very alarming. After filing them down, guitar played awesome. It is hard to believe that it slipped by Quality Control. Luckily I have done fret work before so, not a big deal.

superior quality cedar top alone is worth the price entire guitar...I've possessed the instrument few months and it's seems like its a guitar the will come to maturity after good couple years of development...again comparing the Hauser-Madrid hybrid Protege series...matte finish is ideal if your technic permits effortless play

I haven't owned a nylon string guitar in a long time. I picked up the Cordoba on a payment plan and have been extremely happy with it. It sounds great Straight Out of the Box. Mine was even almost in tune out-of-the-box! I put a little bit of graphite on the nut underneath the strings and the tuning is smooth. Very happy with this nylon string guitar

Hands down, Córdoba makes the best classical guitar in my opinion. Couple that with the easy buying process through AMS, and it’s like a dream come true for me. I’m blessed to have been given this opportunity to learn the classical guitar... again. And couldn’t have done it a better way than through AMS.

If you are looking to purchase a classical guitar and are limited to a lower price point this guitar will certainly meet and exceed your expectations. This model is very sturdy and comfortable with nice action and has a nice tone. Aesthetically, the finish on the guitar looks more like an "English Oak" than what is pictured which I personally think looks better. It also has a matte finish without clear-coat or lacquer which may deter some. Like any new guitar the strings need to be stretched out and tuned but once they are they sound great. Overall, this Cordoba is a pretty awesome guitar for anyone on a limited budget.

I recently just purchased this guitar because i am starting to dabble in classical guitar.
I love the chocolate color this guitar has its the pride of my small collection. The sound is great and she keeps in tune it was surprising that she was perfectly tuned when she arrived. I am very happy with my purchase.

I am 63 years old and have been playing classical guitar since I was 15 yrs old! Believe it or not, I have had several classical guitars but never one with a solid cedar or spruce top, just laminated tops! The sound resonance and projection on the Cordoba C3M is sooooooo wonderful!!! So is its lovely fit and finish! It sounds, looks and plays like a dream come true! I raise German Shepherds (I have 16!) and they now play with my cheaper, less expensive Yamaha! I think they will never quite catch-on the the finer nuances of classical players but sound like more like Flamenco players already!!!I also have a more expensive Cordoba C4-CE (brand new Cordoba model) and I even love my new C3M and its sound and play-ablity even better! I cannot see spending $700-$1000 on a classical when this guitar is a performance level guitar for much less!!! Of course my Cordoba C3m is a recent AMS purchase and Glenn my sales person was great in every way and more than kn Sincerely, Dr. Russell Rintelmann

Really beautiful guitar. Unusual chocolate color, and sounds really nice. Action was lower than expected with no buzz. Very impressive for a $200 guitar. Five stars.
