This by far has been one of the greatest purchases that I have made in my DJ career. Before having lights I would have to ask my friend to let me borrow his. Throwing a gig without any sort of lights is very depressing. These lights are easy to set up, easy to connect, and easy to use!! I love the function where you can set it to be sensitive to the sound, so they pretty much work by themselves and at a matched beat!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! THEY WILL CHANGE THE ENVIRONMENT AND VIBE OF YOUR GIG.

So I picked up 2 of these Gigbar 2 light systems to use with my band. We had been using several different lights and racks and it was pretty cumbersome to transport, so I thought I would try these Gigbars out. I can't say how much easier it is to transport, setup and tear down these lights than our previous system. The Gigbars put out and (surprising) large amount of light each. Add to it that they are fully DMX programable and you have a very quick, easy and fully capable light rig.
We are going to be adding in 2 of the Gigbar Move sets in the near future.

I LOVE my gig bar! I used to have to set up multiple lights on a truss every gig for weddings. This has eliminated that time consuming issue! Just plug it in and go! The hand held remote is incredibly handy, and the foot pedal control is an absolute GOD SEND! THIS bad boy gives off plenty of light effects for even some large venues!

Hands down the best quick set-up lighting effects around.
Just plug it in . . . that's it. The wireless control there's no additional wiring. And what this unit does is amazing - sure to add a new dimension to your live show. I played around with led par light and controllers - running wires and extension cords OMG - the GIGBAR 2 does it all with just ONE power cord. Bravo! And the carrying case is another big plus. I simply love this system.

I was asked to DJ a private homecoming dance for a few students and I figured I needed some good lighting. After checking out YouTube and seeing how well this item performed for others, I decided to get the device and try it out. On the 24th, I DJ'd the event and setup my Chauvet GigBar. I am happy to say that it outshined what the host had for lighting and set the mood great for the event. Yes, I think the footpedal board is a little cheap feeling but the lights are solid and sturdy. For the price, and the terms, I couldn't pass this up!

I have two of these now. One works amazing in a 20x30 room, and two works amazing in a school gym. We put them across from each other (facing each other, pars aiming towards floor), the dance floor was lit up, the walls were covered nicely, the laser hit the ceiling of the gym just fine. We use SoundSwitch to program the with DMX.
Auto Sound is ok, it will work, and people will love it, but this light is very capable of going to the next level.

The Gigbar 2 is a great addition for mobile DJays who are on a low budget yet want to add a level of professionalism to their show. I djay mostly for fun yet enjoy getting the crowd pumped up and on the floor dancing. Good music is only enhanced with lights that move to the music. I got that and much more with this system at a cost that did not break the bank. The foot switch and handheld remote gives control to change up the colors and effects to enhance the mood while allowing me to switch to have the gigbar 2 use sound to control the effects. It sets up in minutes and is user friendly. It comes with a bag for the stand and a padded case for the lights. It is powerful enough to light up small to medium venues and even provide for outside events. I am loving this addition to my show! Great buy!

LIghts are excellent for my events has different functions which you can use with the remote or wireless pad. The easy setup in minutes is what stands out and the different color lights patterns. I had these lights for about 5 months. The only thing I dislike is that the cord is not long enough that you can set the lights in other areas away from my DJ set.

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE GIG BAR 2. I HAVE BEEN IN AN ACTIVE DJ FOR OVER 15 YEARS. THE GIG BAR IS THE FASTEST SET UP FOR ANY LIGHTING SYSTEM AND GIVES YOU WITH THE IRC REMOTE THE ABILITY TO BLACKOUT CHANGE THE COLOR OR THE PATTERN AS WELL AS CHANGE THE MOTION OF THE LIGHTS WITH OUT HAVING A DMX CONTROLLER. Perfect for gigs big and small. Master / Slave between the two was super easy to setup. Right out of the box the built in macros are amazing. All my clients love them and super easy to transport, hardshell case for light bar and bag for stand. Very bright and the UV is a nice touch that I use at almost every gig. The smartest business move I ever made. I started to follow my dreams and start my own mobile DJ business. The GigBar2 was recommended to me by a prominent club dj. His advice was absolutely right. With the lights range I covered the whole dance floor and with the easy to swivel laser on top the ceiling too. If you're booking gigs and your looking to add lighting,the gig bar 2 is it. I had a gig coming up and the lights I had didn't cut it. I took a chance with the gig bar 2 not knowing exactly how to use it but it was easy enough. I purchased the two Gigabar2 Bundle with stands. One worked perfectly out of the box, the second unit, the laser did not work. To AM's credit, they immediately sent me a return label and its off for repair. The unit that is working was perfect for me, a novice at DJ lighting. It exceeded my expectations, was easy to setup and provides a lot of value for the money. I would say that this review is as much about AM doing a great job and also Chauvet providing a nice compact product. While not the features I was searching for, I found the carrying case for the lights to be fantastic and certainly exceeded my expectations. The stand is very good along with it's case. I would have given it 5 stars but I did get one defective unit and as I noted, AM took care of it, no questions asked, with great customer service.

The foot switch started giving me problems the 2nd or 3rd use, and now I cant get it to work at all nor the remote, Now one of the effect lights wont work. Bought this setup because I needed an easier all in one setup for small gigs. This is by far the best bang for your buck! Provides multiple lighting setups perfect for any small or medium sized gig. Lighting is strong and extends very far. Each fixture is also adjustable to the space you desire. Foot pedal and remote make it even more of a convenience. Setup only took me 10-15 minutes. Price was slightly steep but because of AMS’s payment plan, that made it more affordable. Love that about AMS.

I Highly recommend the gigbar 2.0
It was a big hit with the kids at the homecoming dances that I DJ’dand I’m now even using it at my karaoke gigs too.
It’s very durable, and made with a thicker more heavy duty metal compared to the smaller Chauvet lights like the LT models.

Picked up 2 of these, was looking to revamp and “tidy up” the visuals for my setup, the Convenience of having everything in one bar and only one power cable, if you been in the business long enough you know what it’s like to walk around with four different lights & 4 power supply cables, so you know the routine. (and you still won’t have as many lights as this one GigBar 2.0)
The remote is great and all the different functions and colors are available right there, “make sure remote has a direct line of sight to sensor on front & rear of unit”. The remote foot controls take some getting use to, but it’s a cool feature. Great foam molded crash case also comes with a tripod poll w/carrying bag.
Been buying from AMS for the last 5yrs, can’t go wrong another great buy!

I ordered these lights with the hope, that it would give me more stage presence while dj'ing. It has SuRPASSED those expectations!!!! This all in one unit is an awesome system that is very easy to set up and use. One can do the job, but use a pair and you have a top notch set up for a small to medium gig that will have all the partygoers in awe. Easily program and control with the foot pedal. These fill a room nicely. They work as advertised. The only things that can use improvements are the short power cord. I have to use a 20 foot extension to run to power. Also there is no on off switch. Other than that these are the best lighting rig I’ve ever had. Super simple and easy to setup. The carrying case help protect and keep everything together for quick easy installs without worry of lights getting damaged during transport. The foot pedal remote works but you need to install the battery that comes with it. Spent 15 mins wondering why it didn’t work when I first got it. I currently use one of them at a bar. Fills the room. Lights are bright and work perfectly!

I am very pleased with this product. The first gig bar was great but this one has brighter lights and also has UV lights even on the strobe which was a pleasant surprise. I even noticed that the foot switch is more responsive than on the previous model. I will give this product a five out of five stars I highly recommend for small club uses or small to midsize events.Dj

This is an excellent product. It replaced my old T-bar with a huge DMX and power cables mess with an elegant system that fits in a nice carrying case. Compete setup takes 2 to 5 minutes with a single power cable.
I was so impressed that I purchased a second one and I am even considering a third one to mount on a large truss. My old par lights will now be relegated to uplighting duties.

I was recently looking for a simple easy to use Lighting rig to use for different size parties and events. It is so easy to set up, syncs to music, comes with a remote to change color/style/lights, etc, a foot pedal to switch how the lights work AND I can run it through my Sound Switch and program the lights as well. Case keeps everything protects and easy to get to each gig. Get 2 and you can master/slave them so they are both playing the same lights across your stage! Pretty cool.

There's a tripod and the light bar, the foot pedal and an IRC remote. That's it, you can be up and rolling in a couple of minutes from unboxing. I'm new to lighting so the auto and sound active modes helped me for my first gig the next day. I'm looking forward to learning more about what I can do with this! I'm very happy with this purchase. The lights are great. I've used it for two small bars, one on the dance floor and the other behind the stage and the distance of some of the lights was surprising. I like the scatter patterns of the laser as well.
