I bought the original pedal when it first came on the market but have used a lot of other pedals over the years and I never played double base but when I bought this pedal, the feel and response is incredible and adjustments are simple. I highly recommend this product.

I was looking for double bass drum pedals to use on my electronic kit at home. I use DW 5000s for gigs on my acoustic kits. I must say, the 2000s seem to be faster. They don’t have as many adjustments, but they have proven to be sturdy, responsive pedals. They are basic in design, but that isn’t such a bad thing ! I will try them out at gigs too. Solid buy at a steal of a price.

I got this to try and learn some double kick stuff but I’m just not feeling it could be I just haven’t had time. But the pedal is well made for a starter and to learn on. The price is nice as well.

VERY SMOOTH RESPONSIVE PEDAL. I have played many,many double bass pedals as I have been drumimg since 1980, you can't beat this pedal for the price!..it is very fast, smooth & responsive. If you are thinking of purchasing this pedal then I don't need to tell you about DW quality. This thing is rock solid! Try to find a better double kick pedal for the $ I dare you! Combine all this with AMS unbeatable play as you pay and quick shipping...you can't go wrong!

I am absolutely loving my DW 2000 series double bass pedal. I was worried that being such a low end pedal for DW that it would not have their high-quality but it does. The action is smooth and crisp. It's a very adjustable and extremely easy to set up. And this pedal is very sturdy and well-built.
