I bought these because my Bose sub had to be put in the shop. I was concerned about the sound I was going to get but was happily surprised to find that these speakers can hold their own with sound. As a matter of fact the harder I pushed them the better they sounded. Great little speakers, I may buy these in the 15” with subs for my next speaker set up.

These are great speakers! I own 4 QSC and a Subwoofer. The Electro Voice sound great! So much so that I’m using one of these as my monitor instead of the QSC. The Bluetooth connected right away but you do need your device pretty close for it to work without a problem. Overall I think they are a better bang for the buck than the QSC.

Look no further if you need speakers for stage monitors or mid/high packs for small PA or DJ system. I own 6 of these and they are simply one the best versatile speakers for the money. I need a PA for a series of coverband gigs in a 400 capacity barcade. Before purchasing I had narrowed down my search to a couple PAs. This PA seemed to be the perfect balance of quality and affordability and in the end I picked this one. The payment plan really helped us get the PA and then pay it off over the series of gigs. It was plenty loud for the room and I was very surprised by amount of bass the speakers created. I am very happy with the product I received. We even got another gig offered to us at the end of the night, so if you need a reliable, well built PA that is a reasonable price that won’t break your bank this is an excellent choice.

These are some of the best speakers I’ve ever had. The DSP allows you to dial in your sound and 1000 watts goes anywhere. Lightweight and the three handle set up makes it easy to move and set them up. I didn’t think I was going to like the bluetooth function but I’m already using it for more events than I though I would. They are perfectly suited for my setup!

I purchased two of these speakers for my church auditorium. They replaced two Peavey SP 2G speakers powered by a Crown amp. The auditorium has a maximum seating capacity of about 250. The coverage was great and the improvements in sound and space was immediately evident. Running the speakers at level 5 and using very little EQ, the sound quality has improved immeasurably. Pole mounted at the moment, but soon to be wall mounted.

Easily the best sounding entry level 12" PAs. The warmest mids and tightest lows I've ever heard from a PA in this price range. Would strongly recommend to anyone considering the similarly priced Mackie's or JBL's. Bluetooth connectivity is a bit overly complex but I rarely use it. This is primarily used for small parties and home DJ'ing and for that it does an absolutely perfect job.

I purchased this speaker to pair it with an Roland V-Drum kit that we got him for Christmas. I was originally going to purchase the $500.00 Roland V-Drum Speaker and I am very glad that I did not. The EV Speaker sounds amazing and is packed with nice features! It boasts 2 Inputs, 1 Output PLUS Bluetooth which is downright amazing. The Roland V-Drum kit sounds great playing through these speakers as the sound is rich and powerful. Strong highs and deep rumbly lows play beautifully out of this bad boy! I have it laying on it’s side right behind my son and it’s like his monitor wedge. Don’t look at anything else and push buy on this one already! A HUGE Thank You to AMS which is also downright amazing for getting it to us with 2 days to spare. It initially showed to be arriving 1 day after Christmas and it was at my doorstep on the 23rd! Extremely pleased with my purchase!

I’ve been using the Bose System L1 for a while in a small room and it sounds great however, when I got an outdoor gig it did not push enough and it sounded weak. I tried a Yamaha 12” and a horn and it was decent but sounded hollow to me I felt it needed punch a clarity. When I ordered this EV speaker ?? I remembered what EV is all about. Punch and clarity. This speaker sounds amazing and since they added Bluetooth is even better. I haven’t had any problems with Bluetooth. I also have the EV stick system M30 and when I have that on o e side and the 12” on the other side it sounds amazing. I do my outdoor gig just with the 12” and is more than enough but if I have to play outdoors in a bigger area with lots of people than the 30M in combination with this 12” is perfect.
I love this speaker, if you’re on the fence; don’t be, get it you’ll love it.

I purchased this speaker to replace my current monitor and I love it! The sound is nice and crisp and the bass is forceful. I can comfortably play music and any hour and not worry about disturbing the neighborhood or my wife. These pack a punch for the price and the quality is superb for 1000 watts they kick butt and take names later, only bad thing I find is the handles and where they are for lifting and carrying could be placed better and even with my small hands I can not get both hands on and around the handles to make carrying easier but other then that great product.

I love EV and really like Fishman amps. I have two minis that I send out to my single EV 12”. One amp for vocals and the other for my acoustic guitars. It increases the headroom and gives the low end a real full rounded sound. The pairing is truly outstanding. I have owned and own many amp and PA combos. This setup is by far the easiest and most compatible. The EV is built like a tank and looks very refined. Thank you American Musical Supply for the great deal and the ability to pay with a payment plan. AMS is the best!!!

We on a pair of these, as well as a pair of the elx 15 inch. Both speakers work wonderfully, we were especially surprised by the lack of eq needed to get these sounding great! We've owned Yamaha and JBL in the recent past and these are easily competitive. Would recommend these without any hesitation! Have not fooled with the Bluetooth feature yet, though I'm sure they were to perform flawlessly. I've been shopping with American musical supply for 18 years and could not recommend the company any more emphatically. Way to go EV and way to go AMS!!

The electro voice zlx has always been a favorite but now with the added bonus of Bluetooth connectivity it helps my system immensely by taking away the need to keep my iPad or iPhone at the mixer. Power, rich and pure tone is what these produce and will definitely be buying a few more of these!

for their entry level speakers, these are no joke. Use them in my living room for playing games, music, everything. Better than other speakers i have of comparable size and power. Literally full volume before they even limit. But you can't play them that loud in a house. Highly recommend.

I was literally standing right next to the speaker and the bluetooth cut out intermittently and just overall did not stream very smoothly at all. Besides, it does not connect to bluetooth as a stereo pair with two speakers. Outside of that, the quality of the box is exactly what you would come to expect from these speakers. And since there was basically no price raise for the Bluetooth feature, Its pretty worth it.
