Elixir is a great brand for longer lasting great sounding strings. These are a little lower priced than the Phosphor Bronze but are still a cut above the rest.

I tried the strings on my Gibson Songwriter acoustic for the first string change and I was extremely impressed. They have a great Acoustical ring. They seem to be a bit louder than the Gibson Strings I normally use. I then changed over to try on my 1978 Gibson Les Paul Standard and got the same result. They just seem so much brighter. I will continue to use for all my collection including my Dubro Resonator. Great customer service with American Musical Supply as they are my prime Music shopping Location..

I haven’t had the opportunity to change strings on my new 12 string as yet, but I swear by Elixir strings on ALL my instruments. Long lasting and an amazing sound make Elixir my go-to choice in strings!!
