I had been an Ernie Ball Slinky player for 30 years. When my local shop ran out of my preferred gauge, the employee there recommended these. The feel of these strings is somewhat different, almost slippery, and I didn't notice much change in tone. Plus, they last 3 times longer than my old strings. So, well worth the price difference. I don't like changing strings, so these have been working out great! My new string of choice.

Elixir Nanoweb Coated strings set the standard for the best electric guitar strings. They feel and sound great and, in my opinion, last more than twice as long as other brands. I like the Superlights (9-42) on Fender and Lights (10-46) on Gibson scale guitars.

I changed over to Elixir strings on my Acoustics last year and since May of this year I only use Elixir on my Gibson Les Paul's and ES-335. Before I used Gibson Brand strings and was very happy until I tried them on all my guitars. The Ring and overall tone is amazing. Highly recommend them, give them a try and see.

My hands sweat when I play and even when keeping my strings clean, they lose fidelity within a few weeks. I like using Elixir Nanoweb strings They sound good almost twice as long as regular strings so, I don't mind paying a little extra to sound better longer. Plus, I don't have to change strings as often!

I have Elixir strings on all my guitars, acoustic and electric. Got an 80's Epiphone acoustic with the Elixer 10's on it and the sustain is awesome. Larrivee and Taylor play so clean with the nanoweb. Les Paul and Strat are clean, very small string squeak when running scales or playing lead. I've heard they last longer than other string types, but I couldn't say since I've played Elixir for years.

After trying a variety of different guitar strings, and living in a high humidity environment, I have fallin in love with the Elixir brand of the 9's for my LP & Strat, I cannot imagine playing with any other string, they seem to retain their quality tone, stay in tune longer, last forever (wow) bend easier with much better intonations, I get a nicer sustain, I don't know why, just do. They don't corrode as fast as other strings I have use either. They are a very well made guitar string well with their weight in Gold.

If you normally use Ernie Ball Slinky’s and try these out; be prepared to experience about a 15% increase in volume. They are loud, bright and crisp. Seem to last longer and they are more resist to rust ie: sweaty fingers... Expensive for some but I feel they’re worth it..,

I've been using Elixir for the last 12, 13 years and every time I try a different string brand/model, I come back to them. They consistently sound good, and they really last longer (even in sound). This one I'm using on my D'Angelico semi-hollow body, and also I use 10s on my Strat.
If you never tried it ("feel-wise"), think that Elixir is a little harder than D'Addario XLs, but not as hard as the D'Addario NYXLs.

I've tried a lot of brands and types of strings and since I've tried elixir I cannot use anything else. They feel really smooth but the nanoweb don't have the same "coated" feel that the polyweb have, the optiweb feel too raw for me. The nanowebs are excellent they feel slick and sound bright for months. I sweat a lot and I used to replace d'addarios or ernie ball every two weeks because the would get ridiculously rusty for me, while these stay feeling like new for as long as they last. 10/10 would recommend.

I've really enjoyed the tone and feel of these strings since they initially released. Overall, these tend to be my go to strings. However, one issue I've always had with these strings is the High E tends to be less stable than other similar strings and will often break even when simply restringing and stretching them out. Beyond that though, these have always functioned immaculately for me.

I've been playing for over 43 years and was turned onto these last week. After putting these on my Squire Affinity Strat , they made it sound like a 500 dollar guitar along with the fact that they also help to keep it in tune much better. Plus they last for months which will when you think about it, will save you a whole lot of money on buying strings in the long run. Great product which I will be using from now on.

Excellent quality. I've used one set for 2 months before having to change them out because of tone loss. Its really dusty where I'm at but they toughed it out long enough to my standards
Awesome. I play punk rock and metal. I really beat the hell out of these strings and I'm surprised at how resilient they are.

Buy them. They are great all kinds of musical styles and will last you for a very long time. I suggest using the Light Top - Heavy Bottom Elixir's for begginers because they WILL develop the necessary finger strength for playing guitar. Then switch to Lights and you'll notice how easy it is to move all over the fret board!

QUALITY:
best strings i've ever used... they hands down last longer and sound better over time than any strings i've tried
FEATURES:
the nanoweb stuff is great.. (a polymer coating on the strings) it makes the strings last longer, and the wound strings feel smoother.. at the same time, i think it makes pick slides a bit more difficult, because the pick slides across without gripping those grooves... a minor complaint... oh, and also, i've heard the coating starts to unravel on the 'elixir' strings for bass..
EASE OF USE:
easier than other strings.. but only on a small level.
VALUE:
these -are- more expensive, but to me it's worth it... i was going through super slinkys every month or so...
SOUND:
the only time i change these strings are when i break one... i'm in a band now, so i won't wait quite as long because i want to sound as good as i can, but for casual to moderate use, you can pl
