You can't go wrong with the Epiphone line of cases. Half the price of most other cases (especially if on sale) and quality is good enough to protect just as well the expensive Gibson cases. Besides I don't think Gibson sells a case for the Moderne unless they do a run of Modernes like they did in the 80's. This case's interior is formed to the shape of the Moderne and is a Explorer / Flying V size case.

Ordered this case for my Epiphone Moderne expecting a generic guitar case with the Epiphone logo. Boy was I surprised! This case is designed and manufactured expressly for the Modern and fits like an absolute glove. No way can this instrument move around in the case.

This case is well-built, perfectly form-fit for the Moderne, and it has a very large accessory compartment. The fur interior is softer than a well-groomed kitten. Of course, given the size of the Moderne this is an unusually large case. The only downsides are that it is very heavy (everyone thought there was a guitar inside the case, by weight, when it arrived), the hinges are about 20% less sturdy than everything else, and the faux vinyl exterior appears to be quite easy to rip or tear. But where else are you going to find a case to fit a Moderne, especially at this price?! If you have a Moderne, this will protect it well.

I just got the Epiphone Moderne, and I'm glad I got this case to go with it. Well built, fits like a glove, and plenty of storage. I can find no flaws...the only thing that might be better is an aluminum flight case, at 3 or 4x the cost! Don't pass up this case, or the guitar that goes with it!!

Seem to be on par with all the epiphone designer cases. Guitar fits very snuggly with plenty of padding. Gave it fours stars as the lid is a little flimsy.

This case is the perfect home for my Epiphone Moderne.
Heavy duty construction with a form fitted interior that prevents the guitar from moving. No chance of damage for the Moderne in there. I've had this case for almost a year and my guitar still looks new.
The only negative aspect I can think of is the weight. A minor issue when you consider the protection it provides.
I highly recommend this case to anyone who has a Moderne. The best way to keep your guitar in pristine condition.

The case is formfitting and has large storage space. I would not risk this instrument in anything else taking to and from gigs and for storage. I cant comment on durability as it wont start going to gigs for another couple weeks

Come on folks, it's a case. Why go cheap on those wimpy gig bags. You spend alot on the Moderne, might as well protect it properly. Besides, you'll end up spending the money you save on cigs, booze or your girlfriend. Then your Moderne looks like a beat up old log. This case is form fitting so it won't move around. Also very well made. Get this case!

Looks like a good dependable case, form fitted for Moderne's. Might have to buy another one for my 2001 that didn't have a case. Now if they would just ship the guitar....
