Product Rating Product Review I have several Basses that I love including a Warwick Corvette, Music Man Stingray HH, Ibanez Prestige, and now a Fender Jazz Deluxe ... Truth is since I've got it I haven't put it down. When it arrived the action was crap but with a little adjustment on the trust and bridge it plays like a dream now. Fast and smooth neck with that great Fender Jazz sound that is unmistakeable. I guess I'm a simpleton but I love that the control knobs are labeled. Beautiful finish and nice case too. Overall I do not have buyers remorse and think this is a great addition to my Bass collection.

Product Review Very happy with the fit and finish of the bass. All I had to do was tweak the acton. That was it! Very happy with the fast shipping and I would recommend american musical to anyone. This bass is very light as described. Got to say I love the passive active switch. The action can be set real low.

Product Review This bass arrived in great condition, in its case (nice case), and double-boxed. The setup was pretty bad, but based on the inspection tags it has been sitting around somewhere for a year and a half, so I guess some of that is to be expected. I now have the setup dialed in and it plays like a dream. This is replacing an Ibanez SR1800, which is a beautiful piece of woodwork, but I could never get the sound that I was looking for. This bass has a toggle for active/passive and is just generally more versatile than the Ibanez. If you want warm and thumpy, you can get that. If you want a brighter sound, it can do that just as well. Comparing this bass to the Ibanez is not exactly apples to apples, but the Jazz gives me options that the SR1800 did not. It is all very subjective, but I have found what I was looking for. The Ibanez will go up for sale but I really can't see ever parting with this Jazz.

Product Review It has a great sound and good feel to the neck. I was not crazy about the set up. The strings are high and we had to put the proper bow to the neck. After about 15 minutes of setup the bass plays like a dream. I like real low action and most bass necks will not allow that. This bass will let you set it up almost as low as a telecaster. Before you get a string vibration from the frets.

Product Review Very pretty, well built, but for the same money, carvin is much better Active eq is not that flexible...should've been 18v Blocks and binding are nice.. Feels like a Geddy Lee Too mellow..pickups not hot enough.. Nice natural finish Carvin gives you much better quality for the buck Needed an intonation..

Product Review Once I played two notes I knew right away I would be with Fender for life! Very sweet feel to it. Just about what a Fender should cost. Didn't have to set it up at all. Switch to flatwounds...now I do.
