Product Review Such a joy to play. Yes, it does the tele tone, and tele things. But it’s such a monster guitar, I’ve been ripping 80’s rock song on it for a week straight.

Product Review Nice full twangy sounds and full humbucker tone all in one guitar . The full tone of both pickups in parallel is also very cool . The neck is a massive comfortable baseball bat feel . The build quality is near perfect . It’s also priced right . I am Ritchie Kotzen .....lol

Product Review This is a beautiful, and beautifully made guitar. Quality and workmanship is on par with my American Fenders or maybe even better. The neck is huge, but I love it. The jumbo frets are excellent, and the pickups are very nice. It doesn't exactly have the usual Tele tone, but what it does have is great. I find myself playing this one a lot, and I don't miss the tone control at all.

Product Review Flawlessly made, I cannot find a single imperfection. Light weight, great tone, especially with gain. I really like the in-between position when the pickups are in series (I think, whichever links them together). Neck pickup is always snappy and has that great "hollow" sound, never flabby. Huge neck, so beware. I find the neck a workout, but in a good way. I can't be lazy with this neck. I really like the ultra slick finish on the neck and the fretwork is perfect. I chose a guitar that came in at 8 pounds, with a top that is fabulous. Japanese made Fenders are every bit as good as those made in California, maybe even better than that run of the mill USA stuff, and this guitar is an example of that. I wish the neck were tinted to match the body, instead of raw maple, as it would be more aesthetically pleasing. I wish a guitar that retails for $1500 came with a case as well. Those are my only two complaints and the reason it received 4 instead of 5 stars. Other than that, this is possibly the best Tele I have ever owned. Highly recommended.

Product Review The details of this guitar are some of the finest I've seen! every little detail is perfect from the flame maple top to the tone knobs and neck its stunning. The very cool thing is the tone I absolutely love the warm tones and the range this rig delivers. From playing SRV's Riviera Paradise to Frank Zappas' Zombie Wolf it cranks. I love the neck and frets and the general playability, it rivals my 50's Tele in all the good ways. Richie did a great job in collaborating on this awesome guitar.

Product Review I love singlecuts and fat necks, and maple tops. This guitar has it all. Absolutely love the guitar. Was a little hard to play out of the box, but with a little setup it plays like a dream. Sounds amazing through my Budda amp. I've played one gig with it and got great feedback. The top is gorgeous. My only complaint would be waaay too expensive to not come with a case.

Product Review This is one of THE BEST GUITARS I'VE PLAYED. Fit and finish, set up and build quality outshine the Fender USA line, (out of the box.) The neck pocket is perfect. The flame-top rivals Gibson, (real flame maple top not "fotoflame" by the way.) The Richie Kotzen Telecaster does what most want from a Tele. It produces traditional tele sounds while sounding more like a Les Paul when overdriven. Sustain is much better than any Tele I've played before. My first concern was not having a tone knob. I originally thought I would replace this. A tone knob isn't needed on this guitar. On this guitar varying your pick/finger attack does everything you need. You don't get "ice-pick" tones unless you absolutely force them out of this guitar. Guitar responds exactly how you ask it to. Only complaint is no case, (however I think Richie and Fender did this so that you can buy a custom shop level guitar and not have to pay over $2k.)

Product Review excellent guitar. Gorgeous flame top and lighter weight than I expected. The phase boost is a nice alternative tone and the neck, though a bit chunky, feels surprisingly good in my hand. I deeply appreciated the ability to choose the guitar I wanted by serial number. It is the reason I bought from AMS rather than from other online stores.

Product Review I'm a huge Richie Kotzen fan and was always enamored with his tone. In recent years I became a big fan of telecasters also. When I decided it was time for a tele, I ordered this one. It sounds HUGE! The tone and the SUSTAIN! I have a 71 Les Paul custom with original T-tops in it and this tele scares it back into the corner of the ring! I've been playing for 30 years and I have had many guitars. This is a beast! The neck is really fat which has never been my thing AT ALL, but I've adjusted really well and I'm certain it contributes a LOT to the tone! I love it so much I ordered a Fender Richie Kotzen strat from a store in Europe since they aren't sold here and I love it! But this tele is a permanent fixture in my arsenal and I can't wait to gig with it.
