I actually expected there to be a bit of room leftover for my 27" guitar, but it fits like a glove.
I really appreciate the form factor, and that it is very lightweight.

If you buy a Talman TMB30 short-scale bass here at AMS, you may want a hard shell case for it that fits well. The 41.5" TMB30 fits the 42" interior case length wonderfully, and the body is held securely, with perhaps a snug fit at the lower bout (adjust padding accordingly).
The case itself is tough and will take the knocks of gig travel; interior is great with full support of the neck, latches work fine. It's designed for baritone guitars, but I'm happy using it for my SS bass!

This case is very well constructed out of good quality materials. It fits several 7 and 8 string guitars I have tried (both with in-line or balanced side-by-side tuners and headstock). Certain odd-sized and shaped guitars may not fit, so check the dimensions indicated in the case's description. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Gator offers a great quality ABS hard shell case here. I bought this for my ESP Ltd MH-417B FM. It fits perfectly in place with a good amount of protection on all sides. I have about 1 a and 1/2 inches clearance at the top of the headstock so it just about fits being a baritone with a 27 inch scale length. The latches close snugly and the lock works well. I recommend that anyone with a latch system always to lock your instrument as to not risk it from falling out. All around I find this to be a rigid case with a nice plush interior with room for storage. Overall great build from Gator.
