So well made. Very strong and sturdy. Love that the boom arm can slide into the pole and make it a straight stand. It’s like having two types of cymbals stands in one. Would recommend. I have several on my drum rack!

This boom arm is solid as you can expect from Gibraltar. I've never had a Gibraltar ratchet tilter, down rod or boom arm fail or slip. I like the hideaway boom option the down rod provides. The down rod boom holder design allows it to grip a 10.5mm rod in a solid manner as well. Gibraltar hardware also looks good doing the job. Cost effective is an understatement. I highly recommend this model as well as the longer model.

I like to add splash and small crash cymbals to my setup, but too many long boom arms can get in the way. This mini boom arm is a perfect solution for adding cymbals without creating clutter. Well made, fits in all my clamps.
