I used this on a fender tone master xlr output so I could use headphones. It did work but the connection was loose. If there was any movement in the cable it would cause a scratchy noise. The adapter does work but not the best choice for this application. I tried a Focusrite Scarlett solo and it worked great.

It’s really a good piece of gear. As long as you don’t pull on them too much. And be gentle the end screws can come loose.
