Good for general studio use

Perfectly fine for studio or other stationary installation. I recommend the all-metal connector type for road use.
I use it for rack devices in the same rack where once installed, it will not be disturbed.

Best deal on a 1-ft MIDI cable

Product Review
The 1-ft length is great for reducing cable clutter, especially when using adapters that add length. I just wish they made a 1.5-ft or 2-ft model as well.

This MIDI cable seems to be a little ‘extra’, as its serviceable. I ordered this to connect my Model D to my Deepmind. Works like a charm; good, solid fit. I’d recommend and would buy again.

Pins don't corrode.
The ends don't fall apart, no screw to get lost.
I will take standard MIDI cable over USB any day for speed and stable signal.
Low cost for top quality, it gets the job done.

Decent Cables For The Price
By: Tom McCurdy from Lancaster, PA

I've never put too much stock into buying really expensive cables. While I don't buy the cheapest cables, I do buy cables that are priced reasonably because all cables eventually end up getting stepped on, tripped over, crushed by a rolling rack of gear, yanked out of jacks/ports, etc.
These cables are average quality MIDI cables. They have good connectors and moldings which will last a lifetime if they're placed in your studio and are rarely moved around; however, if you're looking for a set of road worthy MIDI cables then you may want to look elsewhere.
It's a MIDI cable and it works. It transmits MIDI data from one MIDI device to another. If that's a feature then it gets a 10/10 in my book.
The cables were easy to use once I realized that they didn't plug into my 120 VAC household receptacles. I probably could have figured this out sooner had the cables come with a manual. Has anyone noticed that even the simplest of devices come with a manual? I bought a non-electronic wall mountable thermometer the other day and it came with a manual. Step 1...Look at thermometer. Step 2...Read temperature.
For the price I suppose this was a good value. I purchased a couple of the ten foot cables.
