The guitar is supposed to be 'jet blue burst', however, there is very little blue and mostly a greenish, turquoise color that is dominant on the flame maple top. Since I don't drive this is too hard to re-pack and send it back. BUYER BEWARE

This Guitar Required very little work to set up. the fit, and finish are Superb, for an intermediate guitar, and the blue over the Quilted Maple Grain is Stunning!
The Pickups provide crisp, Awesome tones, and, it almost plays itself with a bit of Overdrive.
This Guitar should be on everyone's "Must Have" List!

I have owned this guitar for almost nine years. Yes I must admit it took me a moment to get use to it, coming off a serious hand injury. Really I bought it because I was looking at a 335 type body,but since I had already has one of those body types and it just didn't fir me so I wanted something smaller.First I found this guitar to be simply beautiful.Again it took me a little to get use to the pickups, but they sounded just great in this guitar. Once I had it set up properly for me,it was off to the races. The more I play this guitar,the more I want to play this guitar. Yes I am quite satisfied with the lokos the tone and the feel.

This review is based on my own personal experience. I just received this guitar from AMS. If they inspected like Sweetwater, this wouldn't have been an issue. However, unfortunately I must report I received this guitar with all sorts of problems, mainly incorrect or faulty wiring. I received mine with massive buzzing coming from the pickups, especially if touched. Which is an indication of faulty wiring or grounding issue. Needs repair. Strings on the guitar were horrible and needed replacing right out of the box. Wont stay in tune, and needs a set up. So right out of the box, im looking at over $100 in repairs. Im most likely sending it back unless AMS will pay for my repairs, very disappointing. Now, the pros: Maybe the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen. Truly stunning with the quilted maple top and gold hardware, just a beauty. Feels nice, plays and sounds great. Love the super 58 pick ups. Anything from clean to dirty, this guitar will do it. Nice guitar but shipped broken:(

I restrung this guitar with flat wound strings and wow what a great sound. The pickups and controls give so many tone options. Plenty of adjustments. The neck is fast enough and has a smooth feel. The asstetics are beautiful and the quality is perfect. Amazing buy. No regrets.
