I was very leary about buying a Ibanez hollow body guitar. I have several Gretsch hollow body guitars and never even considered anything else. But, I was actually surprised on the play ability and the tone of this guitar!! Other than the tone/volume knobs being a little bent. It is a good guitar. I think that ibanez was going toward the Gibson 335 crowd on this. The flat black finish is amazing! Plus, the gold hardware just make the axe pop! I’m really happy in my purchase.

I bought this guitar for my 14 year old to learn on thinking it would be a good mid ground between acoustic and electric. I actually was surprised at the quality of the build given the price and the sound was pretty good as well. Its a real cool looking guitar and it plays nice.I have an american made Telecaster that if I'm being honest plays about the same, except it isn't semi hollow. The pickups sound a bit "flat" but for him to learn on they are pretty good. He can distort it and learn his pop punk chords and I can pick it up and play my Radiohead....all in all a good guitar.

I'm a beginner so I can't say for sure what a super high quality guitar feels like, but I have definitely felt some cheap ones and this does not feel like those. Everything seems to be put together nicely. The action seems pretty good out of the box, and it doesn't seem to have any problems staying in tune after breaking in your strings.
Personally, I'm not sure if I would get this rose gold color again. It looks nice, and matches the hardware very well, but to me something about the satin finish makes it feel cheaper than it is. Maybe if the neck was exposed wood instead of painted over I would feel differently, but I'm not sure. It is still a very nice looking guitar and anyone would be happy to own it.

When I placed the order I didn't realize it was on back order .. glad I waited and didn't cancel the order .. it showed up and it's beautiful .. construction is flawless .. nice full sound and really easy to play . I'd def get another one .

What a hidden treasure! Ibanez is absolutely killing the game with the quality and playability and that amazing price point with their artcore series. This is my third ibanez purchase from the artcore series in the last year. I have an acoustic electric, an AS75 and AS73. Brilliant guitars. Love them!

This is the second Ibanez I purchased from AMS. Let me tell you, I CANNOT keep my hands off of it! I am in love with the Black Flat model that I purchased. This is my first Semi Hollow Body and I am having a lot of fun with it. This guitar is very well built with great craftsmanship! The tone is just beautiful and the price is right. I'm not even going to have to change the strings. This is a great starter guitar for those who are curious about Semi Hollows. You WON'T be disappointed! Thanks for everything, AMS! You made my day!

I love this guitar, came with a hybrid string setup which was weird, but this guitar is a steal. I took mine to get setup and the luthier couldn't believe how much I paid for it, how well built it was, and was shocked at how little had to be adjusted! Binding all along the neck. Old school neck so a little slow but definitely well made with legitimate inlay. Just an absolutely amazing guitar for the price.

I got the Ivory and it is beautiful. The finish is flawless. Out of the box it was very well set up and playable. My first Ibanez and I'm impressed with the quality for a guitar in this price range.

I have played guitar over 50 years now. Some was professional with different bands but I never owned or tried an Ibanez axe. My new white as73g fills the bill. I am a finger picker type and this guitar seemed to have been setup for me right out of the box. all that was needed was a little tuning tweak. The finish and binding to me shows high quality workmanship. Its a real pleasure to play and to use in any gig. The tone on this thing is just what I wanted through my Vox amp. So friends all I can say is If you aint got one, get one or at least try one. I am extremely pleased with mine.( Had it a month.)

As a long time fan and user of Ibanez, I had high expectations......unfortunately, they were let down by what I can only assume was a "Monday morning" guitar. There were quite a few quality issues. Such as loose pots and output jack completely inside the body. The biggest problem was that the bridge mounting was damaged. All was repairable, but definitely took the joy out of NGD. Probably should have just returned it.
