Product Review Bough this as my intro to 7s and it does not disappoint. Came in good condition played great right out of the box. Neck is a fantastic width...pickups get the job done but keep in mind it is only $200...you will want to upgrade to a better model if you plan to stick with 7s.

Product Review Let me just start off by saying that I've been playing 6 string guitar since 1995, however this is my first 7 string guitar. This Ibanez gio has amazing craftsmanship and playability unparalleled at its price range. I have guitars that cost three times as much that aren't as well made. This was setup well no buzz on the frets. If you want to change it's tone later on just buy new pickups. Only downside is the fretboard is a little soft for heavy hands so don't go smacking the crap outta it. You can see me play it on Instagram for reference @blakesguitars.

Product Review Ibanez continues to impress me with their Gio line of RGs. I own 3 of them and all are great players. For $200 you get a quality 7 with good pickups, fast neck, maple fretboard, excellent fret work, and a nice finish. If you're looking for a 7 string to maybe mod later on and don't want to spend a lot, there isn't a better guitar than this.

Product Review The guitar looks fine, the sound is not so heavy, the neck needs to be sanded more ,the action of string awesome, stay in tune even with a lot of bends, the weight is about 6 or 7 pounds too light, the color is beautiful, the polish of the body awesome, the feel of the neck is ok,not too thing but not too wide, for a 7string gio is ok, you can explore the world with this one,

Product Review I’ve been playing for many years and wanted to try out a 7 string, wasn’t looking at spending a lot. I searched around and decided to roll the dice with this Ibanez. Out of the box it was great. Gave it a couple of tweaks, some new strings and went to town. For the price range it plays great and sounds killer. Of course it’s not stellar, but again at 200 bucks it’s a cut above. Play it a lot and have written a whole bunch of new songs on it. Great entry level for sure!!!

Product Review I thought it would be too much, I thought it would be hard to figure out. Nope, it made me better as a player. I did a setup and smothed out some rough edges and it’s awesome. I have it in drop B or F# standard (6) with a low B on 8’s. I love this thing.

Product Review Want to explore 7-strings? I'm not sure what idiot priced this at $199 but take advantage of it. This instrument plays way above its price. Nice finish, in fact perfect. Neck is smooth, frets are well finished and no sharp ends. The pickups sound great at my household volume and the guitar plays like a dream. Te guitar stays in tune and needed very little setup right out of the box. 7-string guitars are different and I'm enjoying learning to play with it. The 5b position switch is wired so that it has single coil and humbucker sounds. AMS service was excellent, fast ship and HONEST salesperson who worked to make me happy.

Product Review I could not be more happier with this purchase. It's my first 7 string and it is absolutely beautiful. Sounds great and the action is smooth right out of the box. Guitar was ordered and shipped the same day and order arrive a day earlier than the tracking said. Next up a new amp!!

Product Review Have owned this budget priced 7-string for about a week, and am really pleased with its performance. It stays in tune and feels well made. Also love the metallic light blue color. I did have to adjust the action a bit as it was a little high out of the box. Also had to change the strings since the ones included were not that great, but what do you expect for only 200 bucks? After fixing those issues, this guitar plays extremely well for the price with zero fret buzz. The neck is nice and thin, which makes playing on the bottom string easier for me and my small hands. Moving up and down the fretboard is very smooth. Really love the cutaway and the angled heel which gives great access to the 24th fret. If you are looking to try a 7-string, this is a great guitar to start with.

Product Review The only things I had to do was take out the input Jack and bend it in closer for constant contact... Lower the action ...and sand down the sharp fret edges for "fret Sprout" .. and I was playing it within 2 hours. (I bought mine to slim/narrow the neck to use this neck in a double neck Build I'm doing.. this neck is now my 12 string neck on Dean Stealth Style ML Build

Product Review Have always wanted a 7 string but didn’t play enough in that catagory to warrant dropping a lot of money. This guitar met the need. Fret ends could use a little smoothing but has a good straight fast neck, solid weight and pickups (your going to fuzzy them out anyway). So if you just want some new fun, this is it. Looked but could not find a Floyd Rose version near this range in any brand, so if you want full featured, you’ll have to move way up the price point, so I stuck with this.
