I've been buying from AMS for over 4 years and practically half my collection has came from them. Absolutely top-notch stellar equipment delivered to your door lightning fast and for the best possible price available.
This muscle car red JS 2480 arrived flawlessly. It came straight from the factory to my door and not touched in between.. The edge tremolo and the sustainiac are simply amazing. Do yourself a favor and pick up this model over the Chrome boy. It's the exact same guitar for $2,000 less.
I had a Jackson pc1 and the sustainiac was completely unusable as a pickup. This however is an actual good sounding pickup. AMS has my business forever and give them a try you'll never go wrong.

There are No Words to describe The Feel or The Sound of this Perfect Instrument. First I am a player of 31 plus years and I've played mostly every brand, make, and model in the course of my life. The Ibanez Joe Satriani 2480 is a musical work of art from the quality, the build, the detail, the craftsmanship, the electronics, the intonation, etc. I received this masterpiece right out of the box and case perfectly set up!!! All intonation, every string, every fret at singing perfect pitch!!! I bought this guitar because I am a major Joe Satriani fan and this guitar almost nails his complete sound all by itself, or moreso than any other Ibanez JS model or Marshall or JS Peavy amp that Joe is known for? I love Joe but let's forget that this is his guitar and just focus on the instrument. The feel and sound of this instrument is like a musical paradigm shift. The quality of the wood, the weight of the wood, the "TONE" of the wood renders me in "AWE". The body is contoured so its thinner but curved where your arm lays, and is thicker and heavier like a counter balance towards the bottom so it sits well in your lap whether standing or sitting. The Muscle Car Red paint is even more "Stunning" in person, I am afraid pictures do not do this color justice. The neck plays like butter, smooth and easy. I normally set new guitars up myself because seldom are they set up correctly regardless of the manufacturer or builder. Like I said it was perfect out of the box, I was like "WOW"! The Ibanez Edge tremolo here is just Ibanez's version of the Floyd Rose tremolo which in my opinion are the best because you lock it in, fine tune it, and after that you can basically rip the tremolo bar off and you are not going out of tune no matter what your playing style of aggression is!!! Pickups, maybe I'm biased but DiMarzio has always been my favorite. I just think they sound better, fuller, and yet cut through the mix! So if the best playing instrument you've ever held in your hands isn't enough? Lets talk Extras, like turning on the Sustainiac pickup via push/pull knob for those hard to get subtle nuances of singing sustain that is so sweet to our rock and roll ears. The Sustainiac has a 3 way selector for different harmonic variatiions of tone as well. Lastly I must mention the volume and tone knobs are both push/pull and gives you more options like not losing your treble if playing at low volume. Collectively all the features of this amazing weapon makes it "UNBEATABLE". Yes you may pay more for something that might come close, but for the price, Feel and Sound. It's "UNBEATABLE". Also where else can you go to get Rock Star Service, shipping, and payment plans like AMS offers? 5 Stars each for AMS and Ibanez. Thank you both!

tone ...did I mention fat articulate tone with great note separation
Is our go to guitar in our studio.
The sustainiac is musical and really musical
tremolo is a rock and is the best Ibanez offers
the build quality is flawless
we know this guitar is a bit pricey but its not
a gimmick...it really sounds better than our three PRS USA models
the difference is the vocal quality of the JS and with the sustained it really sings
Great top quality instrument .....and really not typical Ibanez...its
more universal as it can outperform in any genre of music.

This has to be the pinnacle of all guitars! Plays like a dream, screams like a beast and a bluesy tone behind belief! This guitar has it all! I’m glad I held out for a JS model until this one. The sustaniac is incredible! If you’re an Ibanez fan this is the one! I have 2 Jems and they don’t come close to this!

This guitar has great sustain and has some nice clean tones also. Much crunch with string buzz/hum which isn’t ideal. You’ll need to plan 3-4 hours to get the strings at the correct height to decrease the pick-up/string buzz.
