A budget bass guitar that looks feels and sounds like budget bass guitar.It has tone and volume controls and a tuner but they are too far back, they should a few inches more forward, it would make it much easier to see when tuning the guitar. The body is also far too small for a bass guitar (just a standard size acoustic guitar body they stuck a bass neck on)so the E string doesnt have much output, turning up the bass solves that but now the A string is to loud.

Excellent little bass, for the price. I was looking for one that I can practice with, without an amp. May replace the strings but will wear the ones that came with it out first. Have hardly touched it since I bought it. The neck and fret board had shrunk from sitting in the warehouse and the frets, protruding beyond the edges, are razor sharp. Have left it sitting around for about a month now and the neck and fret board have swollen back up to size. May still need minor filing on a couple frets but it's now playable. Overall build and quality seem fine. Time to break it in.

This is a great guitar. It is about the size of a regular 6 string dreadnought, so it is super easy to handle and play. Looks good, sounds great and easy to play, what more can you want for $250.

This is pretty fine instrument for the money . I read reviews that say the tuner only works when plugged in . Mine works unplugged . I would suggest putting on new strings . You may like the stick strings though . The set up was perfect , the finish , very nice and rustic looking . I can’t put it down , great bass!!

The low end is twangy, but it's an acoustic bass. That's the absolute best case scenario when it comes to bad things that could happen.
This bass is a dream. An absolute dream. This achieves all that I need, absolutely perfectly.

This is a great little AGB, for me at least. I knew that AGBs don't get very loud, so I wanted one that was amped. I removed the phosphor bronze strings that came on it and put on some nylon-coated ones, which gave it a darker, more mellow tone -- just what I was looking for. The only negative about it is that it had very sharp fret ends. An hour with a fret file took care of that. All in all, a nice AGB for practice or for getting some old-school thump.

Great bass to keep around the house to jam with friends. You can play it without an amp if in a living room along with an acoustic guitar, but otherwise sounds best at home through a practice amp. It came properly set up and the pickup had a proper balance between the strings. Looks great, sounds fine through a practice amp. Just what I wanted and a great value at this price. If I'm playing out, I'll take my Fender. At home, this is perfect.
