Was excited to be getting this guitar, because they are so light But once I started playing it , how cheap it is made. Dings up easily, better not drop it, or it will break. Had to replace strings lower action, and do intonation. Seem like a waste of time for $400.

This Guitar is awful, the setup is bad, The Neck is not straight, and there is a buzz from all H*&!. I have set up guitars for years, and this thig is bad. I took all the relief out , and you have to have the strings so high just to stop the buzz. Frets are not level or crowned, and the edges are very sharp. Buyer Beware.

My 2021 S521 in Ocean Fade Metallic arrived with good strings and setup with perfect action right out of the box. Intonation spot on. Dark rosewood fretboard that's beautiful. Good to see it finally return. Pickups sound great and the Wizard III neck is perfect for shredding. My guitar has some missing paint around the input jack and inside the jack. A few other flaws, but I'm okay with it. I wouldn't change a thing. I love everything about this guitar.

I've always been a fan of Ibanez. I was looking to experiment with a thinner guitar. This has to be the lightest, thinnest body and neck profile and one of my best sounding guitars. The cleans are so bright and crystalline. And the bass is so throaty. I'm in love. I'm so happy to have this in my arsenal.

I have always played Fender Jazzmasters, Strats, Jaguars and Gibson's Les Paul's and 335 style guitars. I own over 136 high end guitars so I have a big choice, since I bought the Ibanez S series guitar that has become my go to instrument. I find I can do any style of music with it well and the best part it's light and has a great neck that is fast and extremely comfortable. It's the most comfortable guitar I have ever played and I have played a lot of them. The guitar holds tune wonderfully and for days and sustain is magnificent. Better than my LP. From it's appearance the guitar looks like a metal instrument but this axe does it all. I've done jazz, country, rock, pop etc no problems. If you want a great guitar at a budget price this is it!

Product Review
Out of the box, I had to do nothing to adjust its play ability. I plugged it into my rocktron v50 and it really impressed me on how angelic it sounded. I've played other sabers that were more expensive, but this one needs no improvement in order to feel line a higher priced model. The fret board is made from Brazilian cherry wood and the neck is 3 piece maple. If you've been playing, performing and recording for as long as I have, you would be blown away at the price and the nature of this fine instrument. It will rot your teeth out due to how sweet this thing it.

Exactly what I was looking for. A simple 6-string, slim and well crafted. I love the sound and no need to buy new strings...yet.

Product Review
The Ibanez S521 is worth every penny and then some ! You really could not as for more in a guitar. I have had many guitars from many different manufacturers both USA and import but this thing has earned a spot at the top ! To start the neck is the most comfortable I have ever played hands down. The slim contoured S style body is nothing but a dream really ! It is so slim but yet retains a nice weight and the sustain is incredible. The Quantum pickups with 5 way switching allows for some really nice tones and are very versatile. The only problem I have at the moment is that I don't have enough money to buy one of every color ! Lol The bottom line is the Ibanez S521 will not disappoint !

This guitar has quickly become my favorite. The neck is flat and easy on the hand. The body contour is slim making it not only light but a pleasure to play
