Product Rating Product Review Good bass for the buck. Pick ups could be a little better but playability is excellent and neck is smooth. Good practice rig!

Product Review As a former guitarist, I could never get into Jackson's guitars. The necks were so slim and I could never really get a feel for them. Years later, I found that bass was my true calling and I played primarily as a bassist for several years and in several bands. Eventually, circumstances led me to leave music for a good decade or so. Now coming back into playing again, this Jackson bass was the one I decided on. It looked great. I played one in a local store and it felt good. The price was good, almost too good, but I still rolled with it. So I logged into AMS one afternoon and decided to give the Jackson JS2 a shot. It arrived quick and after a few minutes out of the box and a few YouTube tutorials later, I had this thing adjusted and ready to play. This thing is a good bang for your buck. The construction is solid. The neck feels smooth and easy to navigate. Although I hated the necks on Jackson's guitars, the neck on their basses feels like just what I was looking for. Not too thin or thick, but somewhere in the middle. I have large hands and usually played P basses in the past, but this JS2 plays super smooth and neck feels great. The tuning keys are great. No issues with tuning up or down and they stay in tune fairly well from session to session will minimal. The electronics haven't had any issues and plugged in, this thing jams. I can get a wide variety of sounds for whatever I'm playing, whether I need a thick thumping bass or something that requires a thinner sound. Also, the white color just popped to me on this bass. I normally go for darker colors but something about the white paint job on this with the black accents was really calling my name on this one and she's a beauty. There's no really anything I dislike about this bass overall. The only thing I could see some people not liking about this bass is that it's not really a good bass for slapping. It's definitely solid for picking or finger style playing, but not a real good bass for slapping; although you still could slap on this thing, but it's just not really that kind of bass if you get what I mean. This has been a great bass for me to get back into playing and I would say this is a great bass for a beginner or experience player alike.

Product Review I have always wanted to own a Jackson Bass ever since David Ellefson started endorsing them. It plays great and is very budget friendly. The neck is very comfortable and it is easy sliding up and down the neck. I have had the bass for only a week but it is already my go to bass. Hopefully things calm down with corona virus covid 19 soon so I can play shows again.

Product Review Plays absolutely amazing, I use this to play Songs in Drop D and Standard D and it’s perfect for fast playing. The action is low which makes playing fast easier. The neck feels amazing and easy to move across. All around the best 250 I’ve bet spent.

Product Review This is a nice bass guitar. I ordered the matte black finish, and it looks very good with the black hardware. It came ready to play right out of the box-needed only tuning and it was ready to go. No fret buzz and the frets were well finished with no sharp ends. You won't be disappointed with this guitar.

Product Review I’ve been a Jackson guitar enthusiast for over 20 years, when I finally decided to take up the bass, I knew exactly where to go. AMS had this bad boy prepped to play right out of the box, had some tuning to do and that was it. Been playing it 2 hours a day for the last 4 days and it’s remained in tune that entire time. Sounds rich and full with it’s tones, great clean and distorted. I will definitely be picking up another Jackson bass from AMS in the future for lower tunings.

Product Review I don’t believe you could buy a better bass for the money. Really well made and plays/sounds amazing. Really has its own sound and not another Fender ( Even though they own them) clone.
