I am a bass head . I love to bring great quality to the Dj world or in my ears at home. There are other subs on the market but, they have nothing on this box. When I turn them on they get everyone’s attention. They don’t raffle nor sound average. I also love the built in dbx drive rack . Plug and play. Aw man! Where do i start? I absolutely love all the products I purchased from American Musical! One of my favorite would have to be the JBL SRX828SP Dual 18 inch 2000 waxx powered subwoofer. This thing is a monster!! You must have this in equipment. The sound is so awesome. Absolutely the best. I have no complaints. Whether in door or outdoor usage it gets the job done right! I would 100% recommend anyone to get their musical need product/equipments from American Musical! Outstanding business and service!

I have always tried to avoid powered speakers since I am using in a fixed location of a nightclub. I have 3 of these and they more then fill a 16,000 square foot building with 1500 people with room on the speaker to crank up more. I also have it linked for al major concerts and the bands I’ve the sound of the subs. I have 8 crew in Vega subs hooked up as well and don’t even notice them off. So buying this is well worth the money

No power to the max meaning that they are just what I want it and just what I’ve been looking for. The bass is so clear it doesn’t over power the top and bottom speakers. These subs can carry some very deep low tones preferably known as BASS how low can you goooo? I have two of these to compliment the four srx815s and it just totally sounds amazing from any where in the room room your going to hear and feel 4000 watts of clean powered low end from the both of them .Nothing but highly engineered and top quality to expect from one the most respected names in the game when it comes to superior sound at its best . I couldn’t have done it all by myself because AMS has been making it possible for it all to happen for DJ’s like myself to rock out the best of shows for many many years . Again these speakers are the best in its class . They are huge and massive but fairly manageable to carry by two people . If you’re an amateur and want something to add that kick to your system then I recommend this item. Simply plug in and play. If you are decent with EQ then you can really bring out the beast in this thing. Great for DJs and live sound. It has that clean bass that kicks you in the chest without overdoing it.

I bought two of these and wow I am amazed. The power that these subs pushed for being powered on their own amazes me. I have one set on each side my booth standing up with the JBL 3-way tops and you couldn't ask for more. My setup sounds better than a local club setup with passive speakers.

All last year I worked with the DBs. This year I bought my own dual 18s and I loved the STX828s I heard years ago I went with these. AMAZING. I use a separately mixed mono out for my bass instruments with a limiter and compressor and these things are just gorgeous and full! Plus, they project 90% of their sound forward! No kidding. On stage it's maybe 1/6th of the volume at best! I had to have my bassist and my drummer come out and hear what we were hearing. Literally had to dial the kick down because it was making my lungs tight!
Gain starts at -100. Make sure you turn them up to at least 0 before you freak out like I did. I run them with SRX 815 passive tops using XTI4002 amps bridged for each of those. So far, we haven't really pushed the system all that hard and everything balances with these perfectly.

After auditioning many standard high-end home subwoofers, I decided to see what a professional PA subwoofer could do for my stereo. Granted I have the gain turned nearly all the way down, but I did try it at half gain. You can’t even begin to imagine how this subwoofer performs. I typically keep my opinions to myself, but this unit is beyond words. ????????

I bought 2 of the srx828sp subs to update from my srx728s/itech8000 setup and "go powered" I plugged them in and instantly loved the sound it seemed deeper and hit almost as hard. 7 months down the road with only about 20 gigs on them the first subs started to sound bad...I called and had to bring it 210 mile to the nearest repair center 3 weeks later I find that the magnet shifted and split...repaired for free...except the 1000 mile round trip to have it done...4 months later the second one has the same problem...on both woofers... I have been very gentle and treat my equipment very well...never a problem with the 728s. I am disappointed in the quality.

After using one of these for a few months now as a DJ I can tell you it is the best sub I have ever owned. Cranked it in my garage one day it was crazy loud but still sounded so clean on the hits and it hurt to stand in front of it. I went inside and right above my garage it vibrated my desktop on the floor to the center of the room away from my desk. This thing is not messing around. Planing to buy another one as soon as I can! I have it paired with 2 PRX725s and it's a heck of a system.

I bought one of these and 2 of the srx815p's. I got them all from AMS. They have been so kind. I am not a sound pro so i had a ton of questions. They answered them all and gave me a low price w/ free shipping and no sales tax.
SRX is expensive but you get what you pay for.

I bought a Scratch/ Dent model from AMS, whoa very impressed. Yea it was a little bruised but nothing more than I would have done in a weeks worth of work. As for the sound, OMG this thing does not even break a sweat nor does it miss a beat. This JBL paired with my two Yamaha DSR115 is a match made in heaven. If you want a scratch&dent your going to have to beat me too it. Most definitely buying another one or 3 more lol!

Lot of bass. Very lightweight. Easy to use panel. Inputs for left and right channel. Outputs for thru signal. Very clean. My setup is 6 JBL EON powered 15's and one dual 18" JBL sub. Very powerful and clean system.

I HAD THE JBL PRX 618LF'S BEFORE THIS AND IT TAKES CLOSE TO 4 OF THEM TO REACH THE EQUIVALENT OF THE JBL SRX 828!! SHEESH!!!! CRAZY PUNCH AND ROOM RATTLING BASS!! TO DATE I AM STILL TRYING TO GET THIS THING TO MISS SOME NOTES. ITS BEEN HOLDING EVERY ONE. OUTSIDE OF BEING A HUGE BOX THIS IS ALL THE BASS YOU WILL EVER NEED. I OWN 2 AND PLAN ON ORDERING 2 MORE. First of all, this sub is huge. Second it sounds great. Was disappointed that it showed up late cause this ships out via freight and not fed ex. Less hopeful my to use it for a gig the week I ordered it. Got it a week later. So order ahead of time. Overall I recommend this sub to anyone wanting loud, clear and thumping lows. You won't be disappointed with the sound and the proffesional look of this beast

After waiting 2 months for these speakers since it was on back order, it was well worth it! Having a 18 wheeler deliver this was even crazier! These speakers are no joke and you might as well clear out a spare room for them! Great addition to my previous set of jbl Prx715 also purchased through American musical!! Love the company and wonderful customer service!!

This item has all the bass you need for a small venue for about a 250 to 350 ppl venue! It sounds great and has a powerful low end that will shake your venue. If you bought multiples (4) of the dual 18" inches you could easily rock out a 1000 person venue!! I would definitely recommend these subs for any venue or warehouse space you will be using for a party!!!
