It picks up the string being tuned super quickly. Works excellent for low "B" bass strings too! Haven't tried it on down tuned guitars (not my thing) but it should work just fine for that too. Buy it, you won't regret it.

I have been a fan of Korg tuners since I installed a DTR-1 in my studio years ago. This little pedal is designed brilliantly, with a very quiet and smooth switch to engage/mute and looks great. Highly recommended for both guitar and bass.

Good tuner choice. Will power other 9v devices through a dedicated jack if you use a power supply. Easily visible from several feet away.
Vry solid construction, not a plastic toy.
Switch is 'silent' kind, you don't feel it switching when pressed.

Just the basic facts... This is a great little tuner with true bypass, so it won't color your sound. Tunes perfectly and very easy to use right out of the box. The display can be seen from a distance, on a dark stage or in sunlight. It's slightly smaller than your typical pedal so the small footprint leaves plenty of room on the pedal board... I have been using the tuner for years. It's a great tuner at a great price. Definitely need to add this to your pedalboard.
If lost, stolen or damaged I would definitely replace it.
Built like a tank. The chasis is very sturdy.
Feels like a stomp box...lol.
Doesn't color your tone.. True Bypass.

Its a Korg - what more can I say when it comes to quality and enginieering standards - superb!
So far, its a Korg and I can only assume its going to last since every other tuner I have ever owned is Korg and they are still working perfectly!!!!

In 45 years of playing, this is the best tuner I have used. It is easy to use, fast, reliable and exceptionally accurate. Whilst offering four tuning modes, I use metre mode, although any of the four modes work comparably well, enabling anyone to achieve precise tuning in a minute of two. I have been waiting for a tuner like this for a long time, and Korg has delivered a top quality product at a fair price. There is nothing about this tuner with which I find fault.

Light enough to use velcro to attach to my board and not fall off during transit. Offers several LED read-out options, big bright note read-out.
Has true by-pass. Also is very accurate.

Does not color the tone at all- true bypass!
Matte black finish looks cool.
Worked perfect right out of the box.
