This hdw. goes way beyond my expectations for the price. Everything is very sturdy and strong . The tightening cranks are big enough and comfortable to get your fingers on and tighten. The bass pedal has great response and once I'm warmed up you would think I had a double pedal.

I got these for my kids so they could play on a drum set that was given to us. The kit is set up on some fairly plush carpet and we are having no stability issues at all. The set is holding up perfectly against three kids under 10 fantastically!

My 12 year old nephew is a child of autism, who totally loves the drums. When he came to live with us, he had a small, worn set. Because he, without training, plays so well, I decided that he should have ‘big boy’ drums for his 12th birthday. Well, I got the drums, but didn’t realize/know that the hardware was a separate purchase. Needless to say, after a little time, he got the hardware and more sticks. My cousin, a drummer, came over, set them up, and even gave him the cymbals and other pieces he needed. When he got on those drums, he looked as if he was eating his favorite dessert. He’s not always able to play at Church, but that day and those since, when he plays, he says, “I feel like I’m in the Church!” I love it!!!!! Thank you.

Really blown away at quality and weight of this set. Purchased to use with Questlove breakbeats kit. Mine also came with a Roadrunner hardware bag for free! Well worth the money spent. Use about 3 times a week for a year now and still holding up perfectly. Had 1 issue with the hi hat stand chain coming loose (was able to a very strong quick fix) and my rep Sonny at Ludwig quickly sent me a complete replacement stand. Been great ever since. Took some serious digging to find out how to contact Ludwig because no one could seem to find a working number to reach them. Great customer service, once you find out how to contact them! Thinking to purchase another set for my in studio DW designer kit.

I ordered this hardware package on a Saturday (or Sunday, I really don't remember which) and it arrived at my door the following Wednesday. The price point was perfect for me as I'm not a millionaire, nor do i really need to have ridiculously expensive hardware on my kit. At $180 for a pack that includes a single pedal, snare drum stand, hi-hat stand, boom stand, and straight stand it's a steal. They aren't the heaviest of hardware, but they look and feel like they will hold up for a good, long time. All in all, I'm very pleased with the hardware and with AMS.

I got this hardware pack along with My Ludwig Element Icon kit mainly for extra hardware for backup and practice purposes. The hat stand is very nice and tight. The Stands seem solid. The Kick pedal seemed nice and responsive, but I'm only using it for backup, and didn't play it much. Happy with purchase..

I was concerned this was not going to be as sturdy as I am used to using but I am very thankful that my concerns what not warranted. This hardware is top of the line and the price tag is easy to swallow. I am a touring drummer for well over a decade needing some cheaper gear for my home practice space and I was not asking for much when I ordered this hardware pack. Well I got more than I asked for. No matter your status as a player this hardware will work for you.

I just got this from AMS, not only is this package a killer deal, but the hardware is incredibly solid. I needed more hardware for my 2nd (gigging) kit, so I looked around the different sites & saw how expensive hardware is these days. I found this setup on another site for a lot more & only a 4 piece. I ordered this for a fraction of what it would cost to by it per piece. The construction is very heavy and the bass pedal & hi-hat stand are both very responsive. If you are looking for additional hardware or you just got a shell pack, then this Ludwig kit is definitely the way to go. A++++++++

I've never owned an actual kit, but now that I'm getting a bit more serious about drumming I've pieced together a rather decent one. I didn't want to shovel out hundred's of dollars for the hardware, but needed the best for my dollar I could find. And WOW! does the Ludwig 400 package deliver. This is not a flimsy, beginner feeling package. It's solid, heavy (Without being unbearable to tote around), and all around worth every penny... which by the way, AMS had the best deal, and honored a coupon code for an addition $9.75 off. This package, for under $190.00 is an incredible deal. The stands work as they should, and offer an aray of set up optins for all styles/taste's. The bass pedal, and hi-hat pedal are responsive, and feel top notch under your feet. I was planning on using this hardware as a "fill-in" until I got some funds together in a year or so to upgrade. However, I honestly don't think I'll need to upgrade anytime soon. Good job Ludwig, and thanx AMS!
