It is definitely a great idea however the Pioneer Ddj SZ does not fit. The controller is wider than the stand. I do like the idea of the unit being up in the air as compared to being flat on a table. I'm gonna try to rig it up and make it work...

The stand is strong and stable. I like the way the dj controller sit at an angle. The next one should be able to breakdown and fit in a case bag. You have to transport this one whole due to it takes 10 mins to set up if you break it down. Overall I love the stands.
