This work mat is seriously over due ! The ease of string change and maintenance is unspeakably remarkable . the mat is closed cell foam rubber excellent non slipping non marking surface, the cradle adjusts to the perfect height and the duel purpose bottom I have a convenient spot for all them small parts to stop from rolling away. I noticed this product sooner and cant understand why it took so long to have one . This Is A Must Have !

All of us have done the same thing, setting a guitar on a table, or on our lap, or on a couch, and trying to work on it. Usually, we mess things up because we can't hold the guitar steady. Buy this work mat and neck cradle, and you're on your way to safely working on your guitar.

Great, well-designed product that really improves the experience of maintaining my guitars. Love the versatility of the cradle cube, with its different heights and angles; it also doubles as a tool holder. The mat is really just a small yoga type mat, which is exactly what's called for.

What I love about this mat is the non slip texture that it has. Before I got this I use to use a towel to lay down my guitar on top of. As you can imagine I’d have to keep readjusting the towel every few minutes. Unless you have access to this kind of material I say get one. You won’t be disappointed.

There are plenty of these mats with built-in headrests that are thicker and plenty more expensive, and if you're setting up a permanent workshop you might consider one of those. But if you're working on your guitar (or banjo or mandolin or violin or ukulele or...) in your own home, you're probably not gonna have a dedicated space to do that. So, you throw down a towel on the kitchen table and go to work.
This beats the crap out of that.
Thick that you won't ding and dent your gear but thin enough you can roll it up for storage afterward. A headrest that flips around to suit different types of instruments. Non-slip so your stuff isn't going everywhere. At this price if you only use it to change strings you'll get your money's worth out of it.

This product is perfect for changing strings, cleaning your instruments, and for doing many types of repairs while protecting your instruments finish. The cradle cube is perfect for resting the neck of your neck, the mat is not very think but it does keep your instrument of off harsh surfaces. When your done just simply roll the mat up for easy storage.

I use this for typical fret cleaning, stringing, and any adjustment to my neck etc. that I am qualified to do. It works perfectly in my living space and does not require a large amount of space. I have used this on Fender and Gibson guitars.

Great for anybody that has a guitar. I've used it constantly since I bought it. Should have gotten one sooner. If you work on a guitar this is a must have! The mat is plenty big enough and provides a large working area. The next support will fit just about any instrument that you can put on there. Great Buy!
