Wow - I wish that I had purchased these much sooner! Great - sturdy - stays in place, Easy to set up boom, and can even be used to place our choir mics high enough to use when our chorus is on the road! Highly recommend!

This stand is heavy enough to hold an expensive mic. However, it is not real chrome. The black powder finish does not hold up like chrome.

This stand is perfect for my small studio. The base is heavy enough to solidly hold a large condenser. Space is really important and when I don't need it, it tucks away nicely in a corner.

I feel very confident hanging a $1000 mic from this stand. The base is nice and heavy so it's very stable also the boom arm is actually weighted so adding additional weight isn't necessary. The only issue I have about this stand is that you really need to tighten the boom arm because it will slowly fall.

Nice solid stand! came in all black which I like better then the chrome. plenty of weight on the base so I can extend large mics where I need them to be. Good purchase!

I bought this along with the Konig and Meyer Stereo Microphone Bar which I am currently using for an XY mic set-up for my drums. I'm using two EV PL37 condenser mics along with a Whirlwind Dual XLR cable connected to my mixer. It is a SWEET set-up and I was blown away with how sturdy this stand is, which does not really show in the pictures here. This stand is pretty beefy, unlike your regular mic stands.
I had an issue with the mic clip screw spinning so I drilled a screw into it to hold int in place, problem solved. Other than that, this is a great pro studio mic stand. I am going to buy another one soon for my vocal mics.
Sounds like I just saved a ton of money by buying this stand instead of some over-priced version! Cha-Ching!

Your general opinion of this product.
My recent purchase has performed just as I hoped it would. It holds up my mike and is totally adjustable. The stand is solid and so far it has not given me any problems. The item did not come with instructions, but that is ok, since microphone stands are a standard item in the life of a musician.
Made with only the best materials
It was easy to screw the mike stand into the base. I was greatly releaved over that.
It is solid with no problems. I would not add anything to this very practical product.
Last time I ran into it by accident, the tone that came from my voice was clear and well placed.
