I recently purchased this product, because my needles had gone bad on my turntables. As a Dj, this product is definitely a game changer! The price is a little steep, but overall in the end it will end up saving you money on having to replace needles that break from heavy scratching or just regular wear and tear. The response time is very tight, as I thought there would be a delay, but there really isn’t one. Plus the battery last for hours. I will most likely be purchasing more magnets for my control vinyl very soon.
All in all this is a great product.

I've had the Phase for about 3 months now. This product is sofa-king dope. So as I was already pissed that those ass-eating sock monkeys at Shure discontinued making needles and I used the M447 stylus and people started hoarding them and the Shure Whitelabels and charging like 300 for a stylus. So when the phase came out and it was Serato supported as an official accessory I was like Oh shiiii... After they got the bugs worked out of it, I decided to check them out. So then I saw that you didn't need the RCA cables for it and just needed a USB?? Bruh... It was on! You can set up colors for each one you use. I did a 7-hour gig and used maybe 10% battery life the whole wedding. Well worth it. The only thing I don't like is the magnetic stickers that the Phase attaches to on the record, sometimes come un-stuck (as it were) and if you have a bunch of backup records you'll need several sets of magnetic stickers (which aren't that expensive) other than that? I dig 'em!

No more wasting money on needles! Phase DJ is definitely a game changer, and it's easy to use. I have had mine for over a year and have no complaints. I like that you can customize the color of the LED through the software. The battery life on each sensor lasts longer and is more durable than I expected. These Phase controllers are awesome! I love the old feel of Technic turntables and have gotten used to manual pitch adjustments and the occasional scratch session. Since I have added DVS to my DJ rig I am still able to feel like I am using classic turntable vinyl, without having to keep my stylus and needles up to date. Which by the way, needles and some cartridges are getting harder to find or are no longer in production. So the addition of Phase just made sense.

So I've read the reviews and seen a million YouTube videos about the product. I just ordered it 3 minutes ago and haven't received it, but I wanted to leave a review which speaks to the customer service at AMS. I've been ordering from them for about 7 or 8 years now and it's always a great experience. They don't BS you if they don't know that answer to a question they are honest and reach out to thier people to find the right answer also what impressed me with this order is that the dude answered the phone so quickly. I'm used to calling companies and sitting on hold forever listening to the recording about how important I am to them.
AMS doesn't play that game they actually have people there to answer the phones quickly.

First off shout out to Phase and there team for creating this product. The unit is very user friendly and very affordable. Battery life is so phenomenal for such a small size it will last for a good 5 to 8 hours of straight play time. Product was straight forward out the box, simple and easy setup. The battery life has amazing quality and can be played for hours! Highly recommended for any turntablist who would like a better sound quality without losing the feel of a turntable.
Setup: Plug in both RCAs into the mixer and phase unit and you’re ready to go! Make sure to update unit in phase manager and have a phone USB block on hand because the box does not come with one for power.
Serato/DVS: it could be easier since it does not pick up immediately In DVS software my main concern was that placing it on the turntables moving does not make phase read and turntable must be on a COMPLETE STOP before it can achieve playback phase takes about 3-5 seconds to sense it is on the turntable.
Playback: noticeable difference and you are not shredding your records ever so often! Very handy tool and has helped me tremendously making playback sound clearer than a CD.
9/10 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PRODUCT!

The phase is the next best thing since slice bread. This product is so amazing and I recommend this to all DJs that use turntables. The accuracy is on point when scratching. There is no lag at all. The battery life is amazing. I did a 6 hour set in my home studio and they are like the energizer bunny, they keep going and going and gong. I love the fact that you can change you can change the colors on the phase to match the color of your scratch vinyl, and I have used just about every color on the spectrum.

Very sketch about purchasing these at first. Looks like MWM fixed most if not all the bugs. Don’t forget to update the firmware when you first get these. The customizable colors is really nice. The future Serato update to make this system cordless is what convinced me to get these. Very solid performance no drop in signal and very reponsive. Even the best scratch dj wont see a difference between this and using needles.

The phase recievers are awesome.. When they work, when they dont they are irritating.
They do have a slight drift to them. If you dont scratch and beat juggle then this wouldnt be noticable to you.
One of my units will recalibrate during the middle of a set every 10-15 minutes causing me to have to turn off the turntable for 20 seconds while it fixes itself.
if these issues get resolved, they will definately be game changers.
I should add that this is a phase issue and in no way is americanmusical responsible, in fact they gave me two chances to return them but i kept holding on to the empty promises from mwm to make good.

The cartridge is to thick and don’t allow you access to the nipple in the middle of record. Some of us use this nipple to slow the record down or speeding up gradually and this mechanism don’t allow us to use this anymore. I’m also having trouble connecting it to my older version of serato and my older laptop .

i purchased the phase and was really excited about not having to buy needles any more. Ive been djin for over 20 years and love spinning with my turntables. I was super excited when these came out. Purchased them, installed the program...which is only necessary to change settings on the units but no needed to use them. I charged them up and tested them out...they work great....until the batteries get low. The only bad thing about these things for me at least is that the batteries only last about 4 hours which is cool for most club gigs but I do a lot of weddings which are always longer than 4 hours. since ive beenu useing them regularly, they have slowly started to stay charged longer but I still havent got 6 hours out of them...so what do i do...still bring my needles.....exactly what i was trying to avoid doing But over all they are a great product,you dont have to worry about skipping records, feed back from bass and things like that...just wish I had faith that they would last a whole wedding/reception...but i would reccomend them to any dj who uses turntables..

I have heard so many other DJ's saying they run into frequency issues I have yet to experience any of that especially when they are constantly updating the software. this device is worth every penny. With technology constantly changing it pays to be ahead of the curve with new products. This device may seem like it cost a lot but in actuality, it saves you money from not having to purchase needles for your tables and it gives you the opportunity to switch between digital djaying and old school vinyl djaying . By purchasing your device from American musical it saves you from that sting of having to drop down the full amount all at once. because they offer you the ability to pay as you play. I really like the product as a whole: small/compact, easy to use/configure, customizability is dope, and having no needle definitely is a plus in certain areas. However, I noticed that when I tried to cut or juggle songs the device didn't track evenly and often times jumped a little ahead or behind the cue point. I also noticed that as I played with the tempo there was a very noticeable lag in the songs. The lag was also consistent with the length in which I played music, which was for about 30 minutes to an hour (on a completely full charge).
I'm thinking an update in configuration may be the fix to these small problems, because the product is definitely solid and an addition to the future of DJ'ing. I've had it for a few days and it definitely met my expectations, with the exception of the jumping and lagging.

I have been using the MWM Phase unit for about 2 months and it works.
There is a problem that has not been addressed concerning Serato moving to internal mode. This would create serious problems during a turntablist performance. I am not a turntablist ....so for me i am able to catch the "mode switch" and it won't disturb the my performance too much but there is a chance that it could. It happens 2 times out of a 5 to 6 hour set.
Other than that the MWM Phase meets my expectations and i recommend it.

This technology is truly remarkable. I have always been a fan of using turntables, however never liked dealing with needles. I actually switched to CDJ’s because of the problems I experienced with needles. Phase has solved all of these issues with two sleek looking remotes. The Phase remotes are extremely accurate and last a long time. I have played sets for over 6 hours and they did not lose power. Phase is super easy to setup and work solid. Not only to they work well they look incredible . You can change the colors to whatever you want. I have had 0 issues with mine and highly recommend them to any serious DJ in the business. Phase was by far the best investment I have made this year. Don’t even think one more day about not getting them. Pull the trigger and just do it! They are truly worth every single penny you spend on them. Every DJ who loves vinyl should treat themselves and definitely have a set of these in their gear bag. I promise you will not regret it!

This product is revolutionary! I ordered mine when the pre orders first were available. Took forever to finally get sent out as the manufacturer pushed back release date 3 times.
If you like playing with 1200 turntables but hate buying needles or you like the Rane 12’s but don’t want to spend $700 per unit this is the best of both worlds. I use them at a few clubs and bars I play here in Vegas and they work like a charm. No more having to worry about the bass vibrating the needles or things of that sort. If you have some 1200’s in decent condition and want to use them then buy this. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve had some of my DJ friends see them in person and be in awe. Customers see them and are confused when they see them. These are the future of turntable DJing. Don’t get left behind.

After about week of getting Phase, I love it! Had some issues but got through it! The product is amazing. No lag, no delay, easy to disconnect to use needles. Sleep mode is easy to wake up. The longest I go it to run was 7 hours but I also stop it before going for the 10 hours that say it can last on 1 full charge.

Amazing product. Phase DVS system has many advantages such as, No more needles to buy, no more time coded plates to buy an of course no more needles jumping. My only issue is keeping them charged. When using with Traktor there are a few issues within the software but nothing that causes any malfunctions or concerns. I have had them for about 2 months and can't stop being in awe about how accurate they are and how well they work.

running Windows Pro & Enterprise w/Traktor Pro 3
1 ) in my " LIVE " set remotes charge lasted 5 hrs & 40
mins. Product advertisement states " up to " 10
hrs.
2 ) both turntables{ BPM @ ZERO } fluctuate during live
play...about 1/2 bpm. During 3 hrs of usage, several
times BPM fluctuated up as much as 1 to & 1/2 BPM
while set @ ZERO.
even @ .5 BPM would make it impossible to mix an 8
to 16 bar fade in/fade out and/or loop.
3 ) there was no LAG when cutting, scratching or trans
forming.
4 ) could be a Windows and Traktor only issue but
several times the MWM Connect app would " disappear
" / quit when trying to open it. This in turn
prevented me from " linking " the remotes once there
was absolutely no charge in them.
5 ) Should you have an issue with the product, you can
only contact MWM Phase customer service/tech support
by Email. Response is very slow and when you
finally get " feed back " it is a pre-scripted one.
Which means you have to send another email.
SO... if you haven't already ordered the product you
may want to wait a few more months. Again,... I'm only
talking to the people who use Windows Pro and Traktor
pro 3.

The French have done it again...first it was French Fries now this! If your tired of showing up to gigs not knowing if the wear and tear of the house turntables are going to work this is the piece of gear for you. Phase whilst long delayed is a game changer. If you’ve ever played vinyl or used a DVS system you know the weakest links are the tone arm and the needle/stylus.
Additionally in a club setting or a windy outdoor event bass or vibrations can throw your whole mix off. Phase has done away with that by creating a device that transmits a signal similar to the tone of the timecode and allows you to mix your files. A little wonky straight out the bag which is why I have given it 4/5 stars.
With a firmware update all the issues should clear these issues up.
This is a game changer. Do yourself a favor and invest now.

I was very excited when it finally arrived. Immediately I plugged it in to charge it up. It took me a few minutes to set up the receiver to make it work with my mixer, but eventually I figured it out. I put it through the test to see if the battery would last for 10 hours. It lasted 5 and a half hours. Worked great for the whole week. Used it today for an hour or so then the right transmitter would not charge. Also when I received it, there was something rattling inside the receiver. I contacted you guys and explained the problem and had send it in for an exchange. The time that I used it was very nice. Hopefully by the time I get my replacement, MWM will have all of the bugs worked out.

I actually had been following this amazing creation since it’s inception. However during its “pre-sale” I wasn’t able to get on the list so to speak then came the God send in AMS whom not only offered a great payment plan but also where very helpful and insightful through all the shipping setbacks from the manufacturer. I will never forget the day FedEx pulled into my driveway to deliver! This thing is absolutely awesome and amazing and the creativity you can add to your sets is limitless. I am a purist deejay that still buys and spins vinyl so the controller route was never something wanted longtime...Then came Phase!!! I love it it is well worth every penny of $399 If I had the money I would order one more It is a huge Saving it will keep DJ’s from buying needles When the needles are needed but the phase is well worth it and the wait #SALUTE #PHASE #AMS
