I am really impressed with this Head. It is just fantastic. Such a powerful little head. Not too hard to use, basically plug and play. But the tone... is just classic and so much more. I have never played on one of these before until I used one in a studio. I was sold then as I am now. Get one before they are gone!

Let me start by saying that I’ve collected many amps over the years, Marshall, EVH ,boogie, Peavey 5150s & 6505s .....: in each case they’re all great at something but usually, one channel, either the clean or dirty channel ,outshines the other. With this Orange Rockerverb both the clean & dirty channels are outstanding........ mind blowing actually . I think this is the most responsive amp I’ve ever played live . It is great in low volume home practice situations and live onstage with a band. If you’re on the fence about it ,just buy it , so many useful tones live in this amp from pristine clean to low gain grind to British crunch to all out metal with screaming , harmonics laden solos . Absolutely killer and built like a tank in England

I’ve always loved the Orange grind and this amp doesn’t disappoint at all. I also own a Marshall Plexi and it’s been sitting in the backseat since I purchased the Rockerverb. I mostly use the dirty channel which really is so damn versatile. The clean channel is very good as well. I dig more of a vintage tone structure and I actually pull it off very well with this head. You could also pull out a very modern tone structure as well. The eq is very responsive and works great for shaping any tone imaginable. The Attenuator works excellent as well and allows you to achieve great tone at the lowest volumes. You could literally have your children asleep and still play quiet enough to not disturb anyone. The reverb is top notch as well. The new design for the reverb makes it usable through its whole range. They just nailed it with this amp. Even down to biasing the tubes. Each power tube has its own bias adjustment allowing you to not have to worry about power tubes being matched! I use mine with a Marshall 4x12 with greenbacks and it just rips. The only downside I see with it is the weight. It’s near 50lbs. Probably one of the heaviest heads I own. But the tone and performance makes it worth the extra weight. I love Orange amps and I’m certain you will too.

Matched it with a 4x12 Orange cabinet with V30s -- has the traditional Orange sound you'd expect, but is surprisingly versatile: I play everything from blues to doom to death metal with this; you can dial it in to get a great sound for each. Very responsive amp/cabinet combo.

This amp can cover alot of ground. It is more modern sounding than my Orange OR50 with more highs in the 2-4k area. I run a parametric eq to pull those down. The clean channel on this amp is very organic and chimey. The Overdrive/Distortion can take you from slight breakup to a full blown heavy distortion fuzz. The EQ is very responsive and the attenuator works quite well. I wish the amp had more power amp breakup at high volumes as the power section runs pretty clean. Effects loop works very well. The knobs have clicks so you don't have infinite control but works very well gigging and setting up. I run a treble bleed on all my guitars and with this the amp cleans up very very well. Overall its a well build solid sounding amp that has a more modern feel while retaining the Orange sound.

So, I don't shred, I am not anywhere close to being a metal guy or a classic rock guy which orange amps are known for. I play alt rock/shoe gaze and I took a big leap of faith on this amp. Never heard it live before and really just based my ideas off of reviews online. This amp is beyond what the reviews show and sound like. It literally took me about 15 minutes to dial in an amazing sound. It adapted to my pedals perfectly and I have't even started playing the the FX loop option. I don't have cheap pedals so the amp really has to have a pure clean sound for them to shine like they need too and this amp not only did that but made my pedals sound better than even I expected them too. It's heavy and it's expensive but I will never look back and wonder if I made the right decision. It is more than I could have hoped for. I am running it through a vox 2X12 with green backs for a cabinet. Great sounds and great amp!!!!

Amp was even better than expected, both gain and clean channels are articulate and amazing. Once you get it dialed in you pretty much will forget about wanting any other amps or pedals!

This amp is awesome! It sounds good at beed room levels with the attenuator, and can roar with it turned down, amp has great tone, worth the money! My only complaint is I wish I would have bought one sooner.
