Coming from typical cartridges, this at first seemed very different for me but it was very easy to get adapted to. Clear sound, good for scratching, and easy to take care of. High-quality cartridge for DVS users.

When I first got these I was initially disappointed that one of the cartridges was not working. I contacted American Musical Supply who got me in touch with ortofon. Ortofon was incredibly easy to work with, they explained what they thought the issue might be but still exchanged my product with a new one. As an added bonus they asked to test the new cartridges before they sent them out to me to ensure their quality. I received the new cartridges a few days later made sure i followed their instructions to a T. and the cartridges worked amazingly. I cannot begin to tell anyone how great these cartridges for Djing.

I use these with T.92 turntables. They definitely put out luder signal for healthy timecode dvs feed. Perfect with Traktor pro 3. Takes about 2 weeks to break in. Makes sure to run old vinyl on it for hours and hours so it can break in quicker. Scratching smoothly will take some time as with any needle. I play mostly house and dubstep and they carry a nice punch. They highs do sound a bit toned back so you will need to add a bit especially when hearing hi hats in house. If you mostly use dvs. It's a must.

I sometimes play throwback gigs using real vinyl so I needed a needle that would not damage my rare LPs as well as have a nice punchy output. These needles far exceeded my expectations and the are just as good using on Time Code Vinyl.

The needles are great, love the sound, and quality, however when I first got them, I experienced, and still experience what I believe to be a connection issue with my turntable. I still think Ortofon needs to address the connection points on the cartridge in proximity to the connection points on the tone arm. Not sure if any other turntable users have experienced this problem as well, but other than that, I am pleased with the product.

These are amazing, the sound from these are great. I got these to replace my Shure MM4-7's and couldn't be happier. Only down side was the case that it came in, seems flimsiness.
