Product Review This is the perfect amp for playing a show then bringing home and practicing in your room. Super portable and still nasty tone. Highly recommend.

Product Review As a new guitarist I was looking for a versatile “bedroom” style tube amp and boy oh boy is this it. It is loud as heck, even when I take it down to the 1W setting, which still allows the beautiful tubes to work flawlessly. I’m pretty sure I could easily gig with this thing if I ever wanted to. For now I’ll just stick to annoying my neighbors with endless spider drills, pentatonic scales, and the opening riff to Iron Man. Peavey really nailed it with this combo.

Product Review This thing is as advertised. I can turn the wattage down and crank the volume to get great tone. It can be loud too but that’s not what I was looking for. Reverb sounds good too. The shipping was fast. AMS is going to be my go to for gear from now on.

Product Review I've tried everything to get that killer metal sound! Marshall, Randall, and several others. The 6505 mh is the only amp you can just plug in and shred with! Add a original tube screamer and oh MAMMA! I could go on and on about the fact that its price is way less then the 6505 100w head. And that it sounds exactly the same. And that its 20w max is more the enough power for the stage or home player. I could brag up all the other features from 5w to 20w this amp can deliver, but I wont waste your time! This amp is a must have!

Product Review I’ve had the 6505 mini and cabinet for 3 months now and I love it! The only thing about it I don’t like is the clean channel but everything else is awesome. The lead channel is very punchy and angry for such a little package. I would recommend this to any player!

Product Review This amp is very versatile. From high gain to light bright cleans. Only issue is the foot switch system is annoying. You either get to turn on the reverb and fx loop or channel and brightness. You will need a second foot switch if you want to take full advantage of this amp

Product Review Holy mother of God this thing is beautiful! Insane tone, clean and distorted I get the tone I have dreamed about for years! I don’t even need my Tube screamer anymore, my Love Death V SCREAMS like a demon and I love it. Absolutely a steal at this price and I’ll always recommend Peavey!

Product Review This amp is a beast , and at only 20 watts, it has better sound then my 50 watt evh combo. Mid-range is awesome, cleans are ok. Lead channel is where this thing shines.

Product Review This stack is amazing. Any kind of playing comes out beautifully. It may not be that big but the sound from it can be heard all through the house, and definitely outside. Great for small-scale shows too.

Product Review This amp and cabinet combo is unbelievable quality and provides skull crushing tone. The price cannot be beaten. I play all types of metal but primarily thrash and death. This amp provides thrash and death metal tones straight out of the box. No pedals necessary. The switchable power is straight up awesome as well. 20W will push a 4 x 12 cabinet no problem and will do it loud. AMS is awesome and the payment plans are making gear that I've only dreamed of owning a reality.

Product Review Unboxed it, plugged in, set my tone, and was amazed that it sounds so amazing. I’ve always used the 5150 and 6505 but this small version is everything I’d expect from a regular sized version. It’s perfect for gigs and rehearsal. Why struggle with large amps when everything is gonna be miced? Well worth the money.

Product Review This is the best amp I've ever owed the sound is top notch and everything I was looking for from big shows to just practicing it's everything you need and the distortion is incredibly on the second channel my only complaint is that the clean could have been just a little bit better but making the right adjustment it sounds wonderful par it with some great effects and you can create any sound your looking for so glad I bought this over right the Marshall

Product Review This amp sounds amazing right out of the box just plugging straight in from the guitar. Love the built in reverb, and the ability to lower or raise the power to please the neighbors. Versatility gets an A as well. Can get just about any tone desired.

Product Review Well worth every penny. Being from the newer generation, I have a certain love for recent modeling technology, convenience, and especially price tag, but there's a certain warmth to tube amps I've always wanted to own. Through my search I found I wanted high gain availability with modern tech pushing a true vintage tube tone, the Peavey 6505 mini head answered my prayers and has yet to disappoint. Paired with a greenback speaker this thing rips well beyond bedroom volume, but includes an ingenious attenuator to saturate tones at low volumes too, quite beautifully might I add. While the 6505 mh can crank metal just like its big brothers have become famous for, this head also does cleans and includes its own reverb that doesn't get half the credit its due. The only aspect of this amp I wasn't crazy about was the emulated out, I found it slightly dull compared to Peavey's real tone output. That being said I still had fun with the emulated out and wouldn't rate it less than any other emulated out in amp heads of it's class (real mics to the cab always prevail). If you're debating a mini head, look no further.
