This is a very durable product. I highly recommend the angle input for the guitar I'm using it with ... I like the angle input option bc you don't run any risk of hurting your word when its sticking out of your guitar. This cord feels sturdy and you know you get a great signal bc you can feel that the item is made tough. I get a great tone and signal from this cable and I have nothing bad to say about it .

Bought the 2 pack on sale and I'm glad I did. Had all kinds of instrument cables, and this is about as good as I've used. Looks and feels durable and solid. Sounds pretty good too. Like the rubberized outer jacket, won't pick up lint balls like the braided ones, if you know what I mean.

I repair gear. I rewired a USA wolfgang added upgraded everything plus push pull coil split. I used this thick gauge cable that looks like it's made right and testing my repair I only had half volume. I rewired the guitar trying to find what I did wrong but it was the chord in the end. That cost me hours of time I could not charge for. After I thought about it this is the 3rd time it caused noise or vol drop but didn't expect it to be my cord with very little use. I guess I to blame for not checking sooner but this is not a reliable cord. I could have bought 5 nice cords for the time I spent tracking down a problem in my wiring and solder work. Very sad.

I love Pig Hog 8mm Guitar Instrument cables with one angled end . They are made very well made, awesome quality! There is no interferences. A lot of other name brands their guitar cables make a ton of racket and their jacks get dull with that lousy hum. I guess what I am trying to say is thay these Pig Hog cables are well insulated and I highly recommend them to anyone that likes quality sound.

It's been my experience Pig Hog Instrument cords far surpass other brands for ruggedness & durability. While the cable itself is much heavier than the others, its outer rubber jacket is soft and pliable. The cord lays where you put it, relaxed, without kinking, or twisting. I took one apart to check out its structure. The inner and ground strands are a much heavier grade than its competitors and each lead is double insulated. I've replaced all of my cords with Pig Hog cables. Lifetime warranty is an added plus. There is nothing I dislike about Pig Hog Instrument cables. Recommended by my AMS sales rep and grateful for the recommendation.

This is one of the thickest cables you will come across. It feels heavy and durable. These are definitely perfect for the road or heavy use traveling from practice to home often. I would be cautious about ordering the correct input jack type because the weight of this cable will tug on your instrument. If you have a side input jack, get the L angle.

These are pretty thick, so appears that they should be durable. As with other thick-er cables I own, they twist & knot up quickly. But bought the shorter length for use in a confirmed practice space, so durability was a greater goal. The ones I received had black shrink-wrapped connectors with gold shafts/tips.

I have been buying Pig Hog 8mm Guitar Instrument Cables for several years now and had no issues. They have strong molded connectors and a ridgit outter cable caseing. Some cables I have bought in the past introduced noise into the guitar's signal when plugged into my Marshall DSL 100W head, paired with my Marshall 1960A 4X12 Cab. This has not been the case with the Pig Hog 8mm Guitar Instrument Cable. Well worth the money... Would buy again. (and have)

The construction feels superior to all other cables I own. No kinks. Weight is comparable to high end cables at a fraction of the price. The cable to the 1/4" connector is very well made and has a feel of strength where the cable enters the connector (this is where I normally would see the failure of other products). I've had this product 2 weeks and it surpasses my expectations for what I paid. Certainly a 5-star product.

I plugged one end into a GTR and took the other end and plugged it right into a channel on the Mixing board. After that we passed the cushion so Ray could be more comfortable. Little Bob with two OO’s turned the volume to a good thump . It was connected very well .

I needed to replace two long cables on my rig (one from my pedalboard, and another from my amp to a channel switching foot switch.) I have been using cables from another music retailer’s private label, but started getting interference from the plug ends. The Pig Hog cables are heavy duty tour grade, comes with a lifetime guarantee, and I am impressed with the way that the jacks are covered in thick but flexible coverings. I could not believe the size of this cable it is so much thicker than anything that I have. What is really impressive about it is the way the covering goes over the connectors to keep them from unscrewing. Connections loosening up is a biggest problem with cables you have to make sure they're tight and every time you use them. With this hog cable it seems to be very secure and not likely to unscrew. Would definitely buy again which I just did.

These cables are perfect. I use them into a Roland Jazz JC-40 for stereo into my Boss GT-100. These cables are nice and sturdy and have the perfect flexibility. I love the 90 degree angles to come out of the amp so they don't get bumped and broken. Highly recommend and would buy again.
