Product Review The ddjr1000srt is a all around controller.It pulled a lot of features from different mixers. Most of all it vert unique colors that on your pad.Also it has the bell and whisper you can ask for the effects and the location,while give you full control of the controller.It has compatible for pitch/and play. Product Review Really happy with a lot of the features on this unit. I have SX & SX 2 controllers currently in my DJ biz and this is a good flexible unit. First one I received had a bad on board fx processor and had to return it. FX are pretty good. Feels more like 2 CDJs. Has some quirks on the loops thats very different from the other pioneers platforms that make that a little clunky. All in all a fun unit with lots of features to make your sets fun and flow well.

Product Review All around I love it. Adjusting the curve on the cross fader would be nice and the platters can be a bit slow to respond at times. I really enjoy the turntable feel tho and the fluid mixing capabilities. They're no cdjs but at a fraction of the cost and with the mobility options opened up I recommend for any dj on the go. Just be sure to pick up the case. I'm having to buy it separately because I pinched pennies and now regret it. Cheers and mix on mi amigos

Product Review This is the best investment that I’ve ever made for my dj business for the following reasons: 1. It’s light and very portable when traveling to my corporate and club events 2. It has all of the hot cues and buttons to use with the Serato dj software and they are easily accessible 3. Since I come from turntables the platters have a great feel that I love to scratch on 4. I love the fact that the mixer section of this controller has its own independent effects section and I can even use the Serato effects for echo outs during my sets 5. Product Review Super happy with this controller, I’ve used turntables, CDJ’s and controllers, so I’m pretty comfortable using anything to DJ. I must say I felt pretty comfortable using this controller. It’s labeled in such a way that functions are easy to find and use, which I think is important even for veteran DJ’s, you just want to plug and play. I was able to do that with this device. Very colorful when in use, unless the lights bother you, I think it’s a plus because the crowd likes the colors coming from the booth. The case is an extra plus and provides a place for storage if you don’t plan to use it for gigs. A great all in 1 purchase.

Product Review What is there not to love about this controller! Let's start with first it's made by Pioneer a true legend in the industry for DJs! Combining the power and familiarity of the wonder CDJ-1000s with a digital board that performs beautifully. All of the buttons, knobs, and the display screen on the jog wheels are so esthetically placed playing with this board has been a dream come true. Formerly from an MKii to this, I thought I would have some trouble but like I said having played on CDJ-1000's the motion and process feels so normal. This is my first major controller and I am in love! I say dare not order the 1000srt without the Gator case, because let's face it accidents do happen but this case is like the shell of an armadillo. Unfortunately, first night out with my new board, while setting up my speakers someone accidentally knocked the entire thing over, but thankfully, it was protected with my gator case! So don't play yourself and get such a valuable piece of equipment and not get the proper case to protect it as this Gator case has done for mine. Nice wheels and structure makes it easy to move around, even at a recent backyard pool party, it rolled through the grass and dirt with ease.

Product Review I had been practicing for a few months with the Pioneer DDJ SB3 after picking up djing again, I had owned it for 3 years, practiced for about a year total on and off, until recently I started spending 3+ hours on it every day, usually much more. I spent about 2 weeks thinking very carefully about the choice, and whether or not I wanted to devote hundreds and thousands of hours into DJing, but all along I knew :) I finally decided to purchase the Pioneer DDJ - 1000srt, and everything changed. I was going from simple mixes that sounded very similar to one another, to having so many options to create new sounds, mashups and overall different styles ready for me to dive into. It was quite a big decision for me going up to that price point, but wow am I glad I did. I didn't REALIZE how stale my mixing style was before I pulled the plug on buying the 1000SRT, and I absolutely am happy with this product as a whole, its build quality, responsiveness of ALL buttons, and very smooth faders, I do a lot of chopping and use 3 - 4 decks frequently and the faders are in amazing shape! The step up to the full-size jog wheels is amazing too, I just feel like EVERYTHING about this controller is so much smoother, the multitude of ports on the back make playing through many setups extremely efficiently, and the built in amplifier with the club style DJ FX is just another cherry on top. 10/10 would recommend this controller to ANYONE who is serious about DJing.

Product Review Coming from a Denon Mc7000 This unit looks great the size is perfect for my needs. I made the switch because the mc7000 and my MacBook didn’t seem to like each other. I love the jog wheels on the 1000srt having that extra track display apart from what’s on the laptop screen is a plus. The only thing that through me off was that the wheels aren’t touch sensitive they are mechanical, but tension adjustment is great.. everything else is perfect for what I use it for, the mixer section is awesome the pitch and channel faders feel pretty smooth and the crossfader just feels fantastic.

Product Review I use technics 1210 mk11 turntables and Rane 62 mixer, but this is a great controller to use(pioneer djj1000 srt). I really like this to practice on and I would trust this to take out to gigs! This unit is a little high but I think many features and the size of the jog wheels will make your purchase decision well worth it. I use other controllers but this one come close to my turntables, also the controls and software make you better and more creative. I thought long and hard before I pulled the trigger but I’m glad I did!

Product Review I've had my deck for almost 8 months and I am like a kid in a candy store every time I'm on it and It definitely meets & exceeds my expectations. I have big hands so the size of the turn tables are great, and the fact that I can plug in two computers set it over the top for me. Also the Beat Effects are nice as well, I use them often. The only thing that I would consider a knock on it it the noise effect, the volume is loud and can't be controlled. Other than that small thing I love this deck, I will definitely be staying with Pioneer.

I would give it 5 stars, but I had to send the first one back because of jog wheel issues. The second one works perfect. I really like the large mechanical jog wheels and the on board effects.

Product Review I bought this Controller because most of my gigs have a 900 and 2 CDJ’s in the booth but for those occasions that there isn’t equipment or the clubs equipment is broken this is the best option on the market thus far. The DDJ SZ used to fill that void but it is big and weighs so when you have a small booth or just want a light weight option that does what the flagship set up does insert this controller. The jog wheels are the same size as they are on the CDJ stand alone units and the mixer is about as the same as a 900 Nexus give or take a few buttons moved around. I bought this unit plugged up and had no learning curve it was all intuitive. I have had it for a few months with zero malfunctions of any kind. Do your self a favor and buy this thing, take it from someone who gigs 4-5 times a week this will be your go to when you need it!

Product Review This product is incredible, the look and feel of then dj is undeniable. I often prefer all my dials for each side to be in the same spot but for some reason it works for me on this machine. The bpm slider is all the way to the right on the right side and on the left side it’s in the middle next to the mixer but it was an easy adjustment. The built in effects buttons are dope and totally worth it, at first I didn’t think I would use them but they are actually well worth having. It could be my computer but sometimes the cue pads are a tad bit slow in responding but it could be just me. It is the right size and definitely passed the eye test if there is one.

Product Review The DDJ SRT 1000 to me is the SR, SX, and SZ all into one. It's not too small or too big. Right in the middle is where I put it. I have turntables and CDJs. The feel is perfect for a DJ that is use to turntable feel or cdj. 2 DJ hook up is perfect so the music won't have to stop when it's time for the next DJ to get on. The effects are setup like the pioneer 900 mixer but it's not hard to get use to. The platters feel smooth and the same size like cdj platters. Best controller hands down.

Product Review I had the DDJ-SX1 & 2, passed on the 3 because there weren’t enough upgrades for me! The Pioneer DDJ-SZ was way to big in size to be convenient enough for me. Now, the SRT-1000 definitely hits the sweet spot for over all size, plus the jog wheels definitely put it over the top for me! The effects and layout are great! All of the features packed into this controller, Serato DJ pro and the price point made this a no brainer. It has a full size jog wheel which is the same as the classic cdjs which I’ve always loved. The ddj has the same faders as the Djm s9 which is the best mixer on the market hands down and is intertwined with the Djm900 mixer which is the second best mixer on the market. This controller has personality which gives you confidence and style while playing on any platform. Product Review Great customer service as usual. I received my package faster than they told me I’d get it! I love this SRT! I upgraded from a DDJ SX3... The platters are perfect, the gaffer is better for scratching and it’s still light in weight compared to the SX3 and i can still manage to make it fit in my backpack case! Not really crazy about the placement of the effects button, but I’ve gotten used to it now. That’s the only con i have!I would recommend to anyone who loves using controllers.

I was lucky enough to get one of the first 5,000 so I was able to get the serato suite which comes with serato dj pro, video, dvs, all the effects, pitch in time, serato play, video and serato flip. I have had the unit for almost a month and just love it. I love the Cdj jog wheels the display in the middle of the jog wheels the magavel fader and the effects. I love how you can add effects to the microphone section. I also love that the mics are independent from the channels so you have four channels and 2 mics. the only gripes I have is that the microphone is hot (peaks easily), the jog display should have had color matching the colors of the software( how you can color code tracks) and the effects bpm read out takes a while sometimes. overall this is a great controller.

Product Review If you are dj used to cdjs, and pioneer djm900 mixer this is the controller you've been waiting for. Pro: Postfader mixer FXs just like on djm900 mixers. Big Jog Wheels exactly like on cdjs cons: No buttons / knobs to control serato FX . (im working on some custom re-mapping of stuff i dont use) Auto Loops are always in 4 beats. and going up or down in parameters requires the shift button... ( also looking at a way to custom map this...) Overall its a solid very good controller.

Product Review Being the owner of both the Serato version and the Rekordbox version I will let you know they are not the same. If the only thing you care about is the jog wheels and something that basically works with Serato than the SRT is for you. Otherwise the SZ and even there SX or any Denon controller will give you more Serato features. The SRT doesn't even give you post fader effects for Serato EFX. Un heard of in this day in age of controllers! You say it doesn't need it? The SRT has beat effects?? Yes it has beat effects but you can't layer effects like you can with Serato effect. I like the option to use both like the Rekordbox version can. You say they can fix that with a firmware up date but that's not DDJ SZ2 came out. Also to key shift there is no dedicated quick access buttons. You need to hit the shift button and then the key button. It's cumbersome in a fast performance situation. Also the screen can be hard to read on the beat effects. I had to look closely on where my beat efx switch was. Taking about screens the ones on the SRTs are very basic. I found myself never even looking at them. They give you pitch % ,BPM and time. Thats all! No waveforms, cue points or even key info. I can guarantee you won't even look at them with your computer right there. In a nutshell this is a stripped down version of the Rekordbox version. I'm disappointed since I am a loyal touring Serato user. I'm sure Pioneer is going to come out with something more Serato friendly and if not someone else will
