I have tried this guy out a few gigs now it is pretty simple to setup with dmx. instructions are pretty weak so i watched a few youtube videos and learned quite a bit. I think with some playing and learning you can do quite a bit with this guy. Cant wait to see what else it brings!

The rbdmx1 is awesome, if you have some knowledge of programming dmx. The dmx controller works amazingly, the software however needs a lot of work, as well as support for more fixtures. They have every fixture in the software, but for multi light fixtures you have to set them up as separate lights.

Pioneer really made this almost plug n play user friendly. It is such a great concept and has everything you need to throw out the old Dmx controllers. I would have gave it 5 stars if there was more tutorials on exactly how adjust the settings In Rekordbox. I have youtubed and there is very minimal instructions. I have been pretty much been winging it.

There’s so much room to play with as far as creating your own scene, it was a bit hard at first being that I’m not a light engineer but after a couple of scenes it was a walk in the park, very satisfied with the capabilities and potential of this small box, I’d strongly recommend it, worth your money!

Overall great product for Mobile DJs with lights who do not want the hassle of programming. Once all your tracks are analyzed it’s plug and play, Rekordbox does the rest for you. Pair it with wireless DMX adapter for your lights and your good to go.
