These Planet Wave packets do a good job of humidifying guitars in their cases; just one caveat: in very dry environments (such as overheated NYC apartments), they must be checked and replaced often. I find that in mid-winter, three packets per case is only able to properly humidify for about 2-3 weeks before they dry out. As long as you're vigilant, this is a good system.

I rest easy knowing that my guitars are safe in their cases with Humidipaks. They keep the humidity level at optimum without having to worry about checking them everyday like the sponge type humidifiers. Do I wish they lasted a little longer? Sure. But they do what they are supposed to do very well. Been using them for many years.

These are ok. Pretty fragile and prone to leak. I wouldn’t put them in the pouches in my sound hole. But they’d be ok in the case

Your general opinion of this product.
These are very easy to use and stay good and freshness locked in until you open the bag and are ready to use them. Much easier than having to add water or gel to humidifiers without being able to control the humidity. These packs activate when necessary and absorb when there is too much humidity in the case or instrument.
Well made and safe.
Haven't had them for very long, but great reviews and so far they are working well.

Absolutely high quality. Does just what you expect it to do, and does it very well.
Winter time is tough in the Northeast, because they dry out quickly. I would imagine the same can be said for the Southwest year round.

Definitely the easiest RH management system, and the Taylor always sounds brand new. Setups were required much more often before I started using the HumidiPak system. Definitely worth it!
