Just received this axe and I must give a shout out to AMS. Ordered on 03/11/2022 at 5:00pm. I was surprised when I received an email the next morning that the item had shipped! (who initiates shipping at 5:00pm on a Friday??). First, this thing is beautiful, mine is Fire Red Burst. The workmanship is AA+, the PRS upgraded locking tuners add serious clout to the whole package. My only question is, if you buy a Chinese made PRS Hollow body or Hollow Body II for $1,000 to $1,100 you get a hard shell case. This thing is USA made, $2,400. and you get a gig bag?? Other than that, great buy. Thanks AMS for making this transaction great!

There is so much to like about this CE24!
Out of the box the setup was pretty much immaculate, Fret ends and neck smooth as butter, stays in tune very well considering it has a trem system. This is honestly the easiest playing instrument in my collection now, coming from a collection of fender strats and Gibsons.
I’ve owned SE models in the past which were good, but didn’t compare to this incredible American model. It’s a little pricey, but trust me it’s worth it!

Great guitar. Haven’t put it down since I got it. Action is low with no frets buzz. Plays as good if not better than my Core Custom 24. Wasn’t thrilled about the Gig Bag at first but after seeing it it is very well built and does the job nicely.

I've been looking at PRS for a while now. I've been playing Gibson Les Pauls mostly. I have to say this PRS is now my number 1. I've had it for a month now and I really like how it sounds, plays and feels in my hand. Really like the weight of it, or lack of weight that is. If I was to change anything about this guitar it would be to get one without the tremlo. I'm not a tremlo guy but I guess that's why I will leave the bar off.

Bright and articulate, plays fantastic, nice thin neck (but not too thin). Probably the best trem system available as a nice bonus! It stays in tune, nice and tight, and smooth and easily controlled! I can't really find much of anything to ding except maybe that I would prefer a couple switches for the coil splits over the push/pull (because they sound great)! Hard to say a guitar approaching 2k is a deal, but this one really is!

Wonderful instrument. The fit and finish is flawless and the design and paint is beautiful. The guitar was setup really well and no adjustments were needed. Other guitars I have bought for around $1,000 have all required upgrades or work to eliminate string buzzing. The legendary PRS quality is here. This guitar produces a lot of clear sounds and the coil tapping does produce an authentic single coil sound. The CE 24 is now made with a Nitro finish over CAB for the body. The pickups are TCI tuned and the neck is a satin Nitro that feels great. This is my new favorite guitar. Make sure you use a Nitro safe stand.

This is my 7th? guitar purchase from AMS and my third PRS. This guitar is just beautiful!! Sounds great with the bolt on neck and the F hole. Don't hesitate :)
And as always AMS is awesome with there payment plans. If it wasn't for them I'd never be able to own one of these. Thanks guys!!

I have always wanted a PRS and I can not afford a Core this is a stretch for me but I got it. I am a little disappointed that the bird inlays are not real abalone and if I didn't know the bridge was not a USA it wouldn't bother me but I do so it does. The bolt on neck is fine doesn't bother me. I just feel like for 2,400.00 that they cut corners like this. I am still proud of the guitar and it's great the Maple neck is amazing.

I had been looking for a PRS semi-hollow body for quite some time and there were a few SE models available like the Zach Myers, but I really wanted the wide thin neck 24-fret neck and a tremolo. When I saw the American made CE semi hollow bodies became available, I bought it right away. This is a bargain for an American made PRS! I put on a pair of .009's (they ship with .010s) and lowered the action a little. It sounds and plays incredibly! Nice variety of tones with the push/pull single coil taps. Very light-weight at around seven pounds. It would be difficult to find a comparable american made guitar in this price range.

I never really looked into PRS as an option for an electric guitar. I stuck to mainly the two “Original Companies.” I had a friend that said I should give it a try. I was looking for a semi hollow body and this one caught me eye. No doubt, PRS never disappoints when it comes to the esthetics and look. But the real story is in the pick ups. They are amazing and they almost sound better than those on my Les Paul. They are punchy and clear and can handle almost any genre of music. The pull feature for “single coils” leaves much to be desired, but this guitar shines as a rival to the Les Paul. Plus it’s cheaper. Not cheaply built by any stretch. I’m a bolt on neck fan, so being a little under a PRS Custom is nice.

It looks beautiful... I've owned lots of PRS guitars over the years. I've had several older CE models and they were terrific guitars ; it disappoints me that PRS uses Korean bridges and tuners on a core model guitar, They did not use to use foreign parts on CE models.
