I have purchased products from American Musical Supply in the past. So, when I was looking for a sub that can pack a punch, yet small enough to use in the smaller indoor venues, I settled on the KS112. I was not disappointed! This sub can easily handle the punch that my double bass kit can deliver! Even a few of the local sound guys can't believe the sound the sub puts out! My band members were so impressed that one of them also bought a KS112, and now we have one on each side of the stage along with two K12.2 as top mains! We can rock out the whole night with no distortion whatsoever. Our fans have commented on how full our sound has become while using QSC! If you register these products with QSC within 30 days of purchase, they will add three years to the warranty, for a total of six years! Only QSC can do that! If you're looking for a lightweight, compact sub, that rivals the big boys, I highly recommend you pick one up at American Musical Supply today! This speaker is the truth. I hear people say it's in the shop ..... Let me tell you why. Stop trying to turn the volume all the way up it's not a rack mount amp.. put your volume at half way and the speaker will play forever.

Just received these subs after waiting for over 6 months (on backorder). I just used them for the 1st time on New Years Eve and I have to say these subs are incredible and solid. Have QSC 12.2s for mains and paired with the KS112s are just heaven. Recommend to anyone want ease of use and solid sound in performance.

Went back in forth with myself between the KS118, Alto TS315, and EKX 15. Already had K12.2 but wanted a sub that would complement those plus the other 4 tops that I have. Way better than expected. DON'T go with the bigger KS118 unless you have tons of room for transport. This is compact and LIGHT as hell... I can fit it all in a 4 door sedan with everything else for smaller setups.
You won't be disappointed at all. And even better AMS takes care of us Mobile DJ's, best business practices, fast shipping, excellent service and they have the newest gear first!

We were needing something compact that would still pack a punch. Man, we were not disappointed plugging in this bad boy. Being a owner of the QSC K112 subwoofer and just being amazed time after time my only hesitation was did I want to go with the K118. After debating for nearly 6 months and with the decision to downsize yet maintain power and quality the result was a no brainer my KS112 needed it's equal. To put it plainly the ability to transport, ease of connectivity lastly the quality and performance cannot be matched. I am a person that purchase item that meets my needs now and those I won't become aware of until later. In closing I cannot wait for the needs of later for those needs of now are met totally.

These subs have plenty of punch and low end. We use them for clubs around 100-150 capacity. They fill the room very nice. There are notches on the side so you can add more subs and stack them together for bigger venues. 10/10 for our needs.

Received today, perfect size to fit right under a standard 6ft table without hitting your knees on the wheels. 1 sub is perfect for 100-150 capacity events not needing an 18inch sub. Of course theres going to be limitations away from running a larger sub but if it gets the job without pushing to risk damaging gear or worse? The product is doing its job! I will be buying another.

I’ve searched for years for a compact but powerful sub that I can just throw in my 4 dr jeep and add punch to my compact sound system. With 2 of these and the matching pair of K12s you have a compact system that can be hauled in your mid size SUV or large car and punches way above its size. I like it so much I am considering parting with my huge Yorkville LS801Ps and going with 4 of these subs with 4 K12S. Easy on the back, GREAT caster wheels, and that amazing quality QSC sound you come the expect. My search is finally over!

Using this with a pair of K12.2's and it sounds great!
It fits in the back seat of my car and that is a huge deal for gigs. Imagine no truck or van needed for a nice & powerful sound system? ... this is the way to go.
When you set the k12's for ext. (ks112) sub they sound so crystal clear and the kick from the sub is like thunder. So far have never evn pushed this past half volume.

I purchased 2 new KS112s about 8 months ago. I also have a pair of Ksubs. Well the newer model is miles ahead. It’s double the power, and actually smaller in size but it kicks. They really did a great job with speaker and I have no complaints whatsoever. If you are pairing it with K12.2s like I do then you will not be disappointed.

Impressive design and performance. Use as a set with another KS112 and we've not yet found a situation it has not excelled in. Tight accurate bass, great SPL levels for most any room we play (5 piece rock cover band). The casters on the bottom are a massive bonus; can also be used on its side. Pole mounting mains has been perfect. We are very impressed; as noted we were so happy with the one, we bought the second one. Replaced a 2000 watt powered 18" sub from JBL - just a great subwoofer. Highly recommended.

First off, let me just say that this is the best way to purchase new gear for your own sound system collection. It’s so convenient to not have to fork out the huge dollar amount. I am pleased to the highest level ever.
I purchased this sub with the intention of having a little oompff for the music that was to play at my wedding. I got married in a tropical Forrest setting in Hawaii. Imagine a huge grassy area surrounded by lush fruit trees and taro patches galore across the running but crossable stream. We played mellow Hawaiian music with simple upright bass stylings at the start and I was mesmerized at the power of the KS112.
The mellow Hawaiian music was followed by a 4 piece Hawaiian band playing the old school music of Hawaii even including a steel guitar and once again I was pleased with the overall sound. But the highlight of the night cane when the DJ started playing my wife’s favorite R&B hip hop favs and it was great. Thank you AMS and QSC for making my night memorable

I got this sub for my FOH system thinking I would add another later on . I can tell you that in any place I have used it so far the second one is not needed. Maybe for large clubs or outdoors it might be needed but for most small to med clubs one can easily do the trick.I would suggest this sub to anyone looking for a powered sub. It is clean and defined without being boomy and bloated sounding very tight and controled

So back in November 2017, I decided on QSC. Purchased a k10.2 and was very impressed with the sound quality. I began to carry it around as soon as I received it to gatherings to entertain my friends and family.
I have no prior knowledge in DJing,or live sound equipment. But some how I knew this was a great product.
Fast forward a year later, in December 2018 my wife and I began to wonder what a sub would sound like. Since my speaker already sounded pretty good. The bass sound was amazing and highs were crisp.
I started to look at QSC cardioid ks212, and began to think is this to much. I only have 1 speaker, why go with 2 subs? After further research, I found this baby, QSC’s ks112.
Never thought I could ever be more satisfied with the sound and quality of this product. Paired together was perfect for what I use them for. Perfect for small gatherings and venues. LOUD,CLEAR and POWERFUL. My family and friends can’t get enough of the abilities these bring for entertainment.

This sub is fantastic for your small to mid size events. I use this sub mostly when I do not have a roadie to assist. Perfect size and weight. It fits right under my table and packs a great punch with my K12 tops. I love the quality and sound of QSC speakers.

The look on my fiance's face when he saw what I had gotten him for Christmas was priceless. He couldn't wait to use them at his next gig. He is completely satisfied with the quality and the sound. If he's happy then that makes me happy.

Sub packs quite a kick for its size. I bought it mainly for portability but hoped it would at least deliver some decent bottom at my gigs. I'm going to get a 2nd in the near future.

I’m not a Dj this system is just for my apartment I had bought the QSC12.2 they are very nice and clean but I was missing something so I bought the pair of ks 112 subs an they make my home system sweeter no sugar added LOL I’m very happy with my song system thanks mr Al highly recommended

I am so happy I picked these up to go with the K10.2 tops. I have owned the kw181's in the past and was happy with those. I was wanting to downsize my gear and keep the quality of QSC. Mission accomplished!!!

I run a cover band that plays indoors and small outdoor patios. Don’t let the small size fool you, this sub packs a big punch. Honestly for the rooms your typical weekend warrior cover band plays in you need the sub to get people to feel the music and dance but many times the stage or corner of the bar is just too cramped to run a traditional sized sub. That’s where this shines! The small size really helps with squeezing this bad boy onto the tight stage and still leaves plenty of room room for the band. Bought this sub to run with my 12” tops and since the sub has the crossovers in it I was able to isolate the 100Hz & below in sub and provide a much clearer mid & treble balance in the 12” tops. Now with this sub the guitars & vocals sound clear & not muddy, and the bass has that nice punch & rumble that gets people moving. QSC has a fantastic product here with the superior build quality, small size, and big sound. Well worth the money spent!
