Product Review
This amp is great! Simple to use, and lightweight. Nice, professional looking design. The switches and knobs all feel like good quality. I used it on subs, and instantly had a tight and solid low end. Very happy with this QSC!

Tried and true powered amp!

Your general opinion of this product.
I bought 2 of these amps from AMS one in 2008 and in 2010 and I have not had any issues with them. Originally I bought one for tops and the other for bottoms but now I use them both for the lows. They work well even into low impedances.
I love this amp. I've played subs bridged in 4 ohms as well as subs at a 2.6 ohm load on both channels. I've used both amps outside with a 6500 watt generator with very little problems.
The amps is easy to use. The functions are pretty much straight forward. You have switches in the back that can be used for filters as well as clip prevention.
The best feature about this amp is that you can control both channels using one speakon output (channel 1 output).
For the price, you can't beat it.

Your general opinion of this product.
I needed an amp with more power with real specs unlike certain popular cheap brands. This thing delivers plenty of head room and no clipping.Qsc are the best amps in my opinion and have been completely satisfied love how the board is built upside down so it doesn't collect dust.Quiet enough and powerful
built like a tank yet light weight
manual was easy to understand
like I said I like how the guts are built upside down so dust doesn't collect
in your face

Absolutely tops. I could not believe there was so much increase in detail and focus compared to my Behringer EP2500. I thought the Behringer sounded great.
Light weight. Tons of power. Crystal clear.
The faceplate is brittle though, and will break if you move the rack without mounting it in the rear too. you need to order a rear rack kit, and rear rack rails for your rack to do this. Bummer. The other amps I've used had sheet metal rack ears that were string enough to carry the amp and then some without breaking. QSC uses cast aluminum which breaks (it can't bend).
It's no harder than any other amp. Be smart and keep the gain controls at midway or a hair above. Only people who don't understand gain structure use the amps gain and run their mixers down low where the noise creeps up. If you don't understand this research gain stages before you use it.
This amp is rumored to not be best for heavy sub duty. that's hearsay for me. On tops it is the cleanest amp I've ever heard. It actually made a sincere and noticeable difference going from an EP2500. So profound in fact that my wife's untrained response was "it sounds like someone put a blanket over the speaker" when i went back to the EP in an A/B test.
