I used this with a MiroPro 8 on a "louder than I like" Rock and R&B gig the same night I received it. I was amazed by the increase in sound pressure and the neutral tone of the mids and highs. I wish I had remembered what playing through closed back cabinets did for/to me in the '60's. My opinion: The LF response is a bit strong even for a rock gig. Low E string booms out which took some right hand changes to even out. However, a few days later I played an acoustic single. I usually use an AER 60 and then D/I that to the P.A. I thought I would try just carrying the MicroPro 8 and this 12" extension. The results were very good.....BUT when I plugged in my Martin Baritone, it was just awesome, very balanced and powerful. I know, this cabinet was not intended for this use, but this combo just seemed to work. Several guitarists came up to ask questions about the rig.
