Love the amp super clean to freaking insane out of the box ready to rock gig or just practice the little amp can handle it use as pre amp or your main head it’s bad ass louder then you think flat out the amp rocks

I had seen reviews & videos about this, but like any good buyer I was skeptical about what it could deliver or what it would give me that I didn't already have, but I really wanted a Randall head in my arsenal so I bit the bullet & wow am I glad that I did!
This amp surpassed all my expectations honestly. The only thing clean about this amp is it's presentation & the effects loop, every other part of this is made to destroy & melt faces off! The tone knob in conjunction with the 3 way tone toggle makes getting any type of metal / rock tone achievable for me. Works great with or without a boost / overdrive, it can take distortion pedals fine too. Preamp pedals work great in the effects loop. You can play it silently using the speaker emulated out & it sounds better than a lot of the cabs in my two note torpedoe honestly. I can't say enough good things about this amp! Don't expect a true clean tone though, closest you'll get is a Vox-like crunchy tone that can be used as a clean easily. Very reacti e to my volume knob as well!

Bought this on a whim when it was on sale. Had it for over 5 months and it gets a workout from just about any kind of guitar. Wanted another small amp head that didn't cost a ton of cash and didn't need to be babied because you're worried about the cost. I'll tell you - I'd put this head up against many that cost ten times as much. Well worth the cost.

Just OK. Not really much gain on tap, even with it maxed out and a boost in front. I guess it’s ok for that lower gain, middy kind of modern metal sound.
