This ptoduct is something i fell in love with. The crossfader is super duper smooth. You can adjust it from heavy to light. I love all the effects and samples, and the beatpads is amazing! It responds to the cue points and I just love Dj-ing even more with this equipment!!!!

Rane Twelve Turntable Controller most interesting and solid piece of equipment. Interesting in the way it operates by totally controlling software flawlessly. No performance or latency issues, operates as if you were using a true turntable.
I was originally looking for turntables to get away from the all-in-one controller and return to my roots and this controller allowed me to do that without any regrets.
I would advise any turntablist to try this device. It worked out so well that I bought two of them. Rane Twelve....your next piece of dj equipment!

I really do love these, they look cool, built like tanks, and give you everything you want from a vinyl setup sans needles, and skipping, etc. These along with the Rane 72 is the perfect combination. I highly recommend these for turntablist, or controller DJs looking to switch it up a little. Because of the extremely solid build quality, I personally recommend getting individual cases instead of the large coffin. With two twelves and a 72 or any other mixed for that matter makes it extremely heavy to transport.

I love this Twelve. It does what I want it to do. It's easy to assign and it works really well. The only minor drawback is that the main power button is all the way underneath the device where you plug in main power source. Dont know why that is.

So I'm an out of practice DJ from the 80's just about at the birth of Gangsta Rap.
Now that I'm no longer broke and can only wish for stuff, I've almost made a practice of buying the toys that once got away from me. So I buy myself two RANE 12's to practice all of that scratching and mixing that you see guys doing on YouTube.
I get them hooked up and am instantly impressed with the ease of use and usable feature set such as setting and calling cue points right from the turntable. Additionally, since there is no needle, a toddler can get on these and just start wiggling the platter back and forth (excellent for teaching the kiddies the skill of DJ'ing).
At the moment, I have just been getting comfortable with using Serato... but it won't be long until I'm back to the DJ I once was.
The platter has a good and strong pull, but you may still need to make your own slipmats to get that perfect feel of a turntable.

Same size and almost weight of a technics 1200. Sturdy construction. The cue point and the sliding cue are amazing. I've had the pair for two weeks now and I'm having a ball working them out. Very pleasantly surprised with the operation. Pitch and tracking is very fast and accurate.

Was at first hesitant for purchasing this turntable due to it being only digital/midi controller and no actual needle. But I can say, Im beyond Impressed! This table is direct drive, good torgue, ane setup like a modernized technique sl1200. Very responsive for scratching and good interfacing with the rane72 mixer. Differently completes the package. Though ive only used with the mixer itnwas designed for id give it more stars. The needless design makes it easy for any dj to use and easy to forget your still djing on vinyl. Use them with my phase setup and works well too. Highly recommend and could not go wrong for a serato dj turntable.

I ordered two (2) months ago and only 1 came (AMS hasnt sent the 2nd one, but thats another review) BUT! simple to hook up and use. Solid build!, no shorts here. They absolutely put me in the mind of my old Tech 12's and Pioneer PLX. Great platter response and you can truly tweak it to what you desire. On the digi side of things, I could totally do an outstanding set with JUST ONE of these beast (Still want#2 AMS!!! but thats another review) and do a great job. These are well worth the sticker.

Rane did it again! As a turntable dj for over 20 years, the rane twelve is as close to the original vinyl feeling as you can get. Never liked cdjs or toy box controllers. And will admit i was skeptical of not having a needle and vinyl feeling. The twelves don’t miss a beat, and scratching is as accurate if not more accurate (without the occasional skipping) as being on a pair of 1200’s! Back in the day there was nothing like going record shopping and getting home to play that new vinyl. But now with the twelves, that same excitement exists with every new downloaded track. If you were a vinyl junkie like I was and your looking for the same feeling, get your hands on a pair of rane twelves. LITERALLY!

Rane hit the money on this, I am completely in love with these and my rig set up is flawless. I highly recommend any DJ to get these, you will fall in love with them without any guilt or losing the love for the vinyl effect. I love the feel of the vinyl like of the controller and the smooth transitions that you can use with them and the Serato 72 mixer.
