I primarily play fretless basses, but this one is the exception! It is smooth, crisp, and bold. The tone is unmatchable and I can switch from genre to genre with this! Highly recommend!

Upon opening the box I was very pleased with the aesthetics of the bass. Smooth lines and the color was a little more vibrant than the photos show. Plugged her in and WOW!!! batteries were dead and the truss needed a slight twist. Tossed some new batteries and played. Perhaps its just the Ernie Balls she strung with adding to how bright the tone is but she's very bright with an amazing growl.
The active electronics offer a wide veriation of subtle adjustments of the tone.
There is also distinct difference between the neck and bridge pickups witch is nice as well.
When I tossed a strap on and rested it over the shoulder it felt like nothing was there which was very much appreciated by my back.
Cons, hmmm, Ive only had this bass a couple months now and a few rehersals and home play so the only con I would mention, the lines of the stain on the body are not perfectly smooth but you need to be looking closely to notice.

Awesome bass

It's cut in Korea, assembled in the USA. Who cares? It's awesome! This is my 3rd bass from Schecter.
Neck-thu body construction is what you want. String-thu is what you want too.
Sound is awesome. Has a nice growl to it. Sustain is nice too from the neck- and string- thru design.
Playing is smooth. Controls are easy to get at and use.
Active pickups. You can dial in just about any tone you want.
Finish on mine is the sunburst. It's a transparent finish and looks fantastic.
I made NO adjustments out of the box. It seems the person who set it up at Schecter knows what I like. The action is low enough where I can do hammer-ons with ease, and high enough where I have minimal string 'click' when I play hard.
