This bass is pure perfection. As an endorsed artist, I play Spector exclusively. This was my sixth Spector bass I bought and this easily tops all of my other five basses. The feel of the neck is just right for a 5 string. Perfect string spacing and super easy to slap with. The Bartolinis are a nice addition but I'm gonna have them swapped for EMG DC 40 as I also an endorsed by them. The Tonepump preamp is the perfect preamp for this bass in my opinion. It gives it that classic Spector growl but is also versatile and can cover any range or style of music you play. Guaranteed. Try one if you haven't already. You won't regret it.

Although admittedly pricey.. the Spector Euro 5LX 5-stringed active / passive electric bass guitar is one of the best instruments ever fabricated & assembled in the world from the Czech Republic.
