I had to cut down on size, weight, and overall footprint.. The toms are the best I have ever used: Incredibly fat and perfect when mic’d or not. I have them tuned as low as possible. And the kick is super clean and just enough lows without overbearing boom with just an EQ pad. Don’t let the 10” width fool you. Mind you, I only gig fully mic’d, but this kit is incredible. I complimented this kit with Yamaha Crosstown Aluminum hardware and this is the easiest and lightest set up in my 11 years of gigging full time. I have everything mounted to a rolling riser (kick and all the stands) that rolls in and out of my trailer, but the previous kits were heavy when lifting onto stages 2-6’ high. Overall, this is the thickest, tone perfect drum set; not only in it s class, but up there with DW Collectors, Gretsch Renown’s, Mapex Saturns, etc! Total home run!!

For the size and money these drums have surpassed my expectation bass drum with a bit of muffling and sound hole cut in the front head. Is plenary for most any small gig or practice toms cut thru cleanly only negative note is the floor Tom leg could be taller
